Am on series x. I enjoy the game, BUT, the issues on series x is a bit of a mess, i mean the sounds are a mess still, and the blurry textures is the worst thing ever, i mean driving along all nice on wcmls, then bam blurry for many stations, i use all layers and dynamic weather as the way the game was made, none of this turn off this and that to make it work properly, it bloody should work as intended. Just a big hot mess. Thats my thoughts on it.
Z-fighting and the sound popping are my biggest issues and still not solved after a long time. Also a lot of routes has smaller (visual) issues.
Amongst all the false promises and degraded performance over the years, the one that really stings for me is the loss of the nature walk to the viaduct on the Peak Forest. It epitomises the false advertising and incompetence at DTG. Pretty sure it was shown off on the live stream but by the time I bought it on release it was been "blocked off due to a miscommunication"! There was talk of it reappearing but like most the other post-release fixes that have been promised, no sign of it years down line but the content is still on sale.
Reused rolling stock and the section of original route also reused, a huge missed opportunity for new trains
Ah ok, you ment Dresden - Leipzig. This route is done in the most lazy way and a remade of the BR1442 S-bahn Leipzig with correct sounds and working PIS is not included.
With only 14 replies under this post, I don't think the guys (and girls) at DTG are impressed enough, to finally fix the specific Xbox issues like Z-fighting and popping sounds. There are multiple trains I don't use anymore, because of those issues. It's to much distracting me and the popping sound is somethings working to much on my nerves and let me quit the game before the end of a run.
I was using an LMS Jubilee on the WSR when my wheels stopped working and everything broke for NO REASON with the banking locos (x2 class 47) the only locos working, with my jubilees wheels bugging out constantly
