Train Simulator Classic, the ultimate railway hobby, is back for 2025 with three iconic routes from the wide world of railways. Click here to visit the store

The Chatham Main Line is featured in its entirety from London Victoria to Ramsgate and Dover via Faversham. The Sheerness Branch is also included, as is London Blackfriars, totalling over 130 miles of South East railway to explore. Also featuring are a selection of Southeastern EMUs, including the BR Class 465/9 for long-distance Networker action.

The historic Norfolk Southern (ex-Southern Railway) Saluda Grade route extends 70 miles from Asheville, North Carolina, to Spartanburg, South Carolina, and includes the legendary and daunting 4.7 per cent railroad grade that ascended the east slope of the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains. You’ll climb aboard three types of authentic Norfolk Southern diesels and experience extraordinary and memorable mountain railroading.

Konstanz and Villingen are connected by more than 90km of scenic inter-city rail. From Konstanz, the line starts off as the Upper Rhine Railway, which has followed the path of the great river since the 1840s. The Upper Rhine Railway stretches all the way from Mannheim down to the Swiss city of Basel, before sharply darting east and following, plus frequently crossing, the German-Swiss border all the way to Konstanz. You will experience all of this from the cab of the BR111 and the BR 189.

I have all these releases previously. Have these routes been redone and upgraded to make TSC25 worth purchasing. Perhaps DTG Jamie would elaborate?

Do I need to reinstall all RSSLO and Virtual Railroad DLC because of this?

Had a look at what's changed and it's just a few files in the games core. Does not affect Assets or Content.

No, no need for you to worry about that.

However, it’s always good to backup your Railworks folder.

    In the article is written:
"Konstanz and Villingen are connected by more than 90km of scenic inter-city rail. From Konstanz, the line starts off as the Upper Rhine Railway, which has followed the path of the great river since the 1840s. The Upper Rhine Railway stretches all the way from Mannheim down to the Swiss city of Basel, before sharply darting east and following, plus frequently crossing, the German-Swiss border all the way to Konstanz."

I dont think that this describtion is well fitting, in parts it may be incorrect, at least its misleading. Correct is: The rhine goes from Mannheim down to Basel, then to east to Konstanz and into the Bodensee (engl.: Lake Constance). But this DLC here never reaches this part, it reaches the rhine river only at Konstanz and then has nothing to do with them. When a river, then it would more suitable the Donau (Danube).
The "Obere Rheintalbahn" (engl.: upper rhine railway) stretches from Mannheim to Basel. Along this way there is the city Offenburg, from where the "Schwarzwaldbahn" (in engl. something like: Black Forest Railway) diverges and goes through the Black Forest down to Singen (by the Deutsche Bahn also named down to Konstanz).
The part from Basel to Konstanz along the rhine via Waldshut and Singen is called: "Hochrheinbahn" (something like High Rhine Railway if translated word by word). But I am not sure if the translation would be here also Upper Rhine Railway. At least for germans it would be misleading, especially with all that describtions with Mannheim, Basel ... which has nothing do to with this route.

Perhaps Following describtion would be better fitting:
"Konstanz and Villingen are connected by more than 90km of scenic regional rail. From Konstanz, the line starts off from Lake Constance to Singen, where we diverge through the southern parts of the Swabian Alps. After following the Danube river the route arrives Villingen at the eastern border of the Black Forest."
