Please add Elizabeth Line, Transport for London (TFL). Elizabeth Line is best in London. i-drew-a-diagram-of-elizabeth-line-service-pattern-cause-i-v0-othx88b415ce1.jpeg

The only way I see it coming is as part of a GEML route out of Liverpool Street.

The Paddington to Reading and the Heathrow sections won't happen

Plus ATO being a huge disincentive for the Underground section, not to mention DTG’s ongoing aversion to light baking the tunnels and stations.

Would tend to agree, while the 345s are great trains from a driving point of view, there's an all-stations stopping pattern, ATO along a fair section of the route (manually lining a train up with the platform doors will be a pain) and single bore tunnels so you can't see passing trains and no freight. The mainlines either side would be preferable.
