DTG Jamie Not out on Xbox yet as it’s not accessible in their store. It must be 4pm. Will you provide a link when available please.
Brilliant, got it Thank you so much DTG Jamie, it is a pain to find new releases on the Microsoft Store.
If I go to Aston platform will I get kick out. Well actually I tried it didn’t get kick out of the simulation. Surprised dtg. Kinda wish they could do that to all the route instead of getting kick out of the boundaries. Make it a lot easier then to having to worry about that.
over 14GB? what the bogies? ... but I bought this, as a reward for myself for being very brave today and installing an internal SSD all by myself (for some of you it might be Tuesday but for me it is a big deal cos of anxieties and other stuff in a pretty severe mix sometimes)
Well done! I think many of us are a little nervous when we open a computer case. It's always easier the second time around. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Blurry textures are joke it's getting ridiculous nothing is getting done about it console players are treated like second class and don't say turn off some layers that's not the solution Blurry textures have been a problem since TSW5 Mildmay line actually acknowledge the problem and do something about it DTG Jamie DTG Harry DTG Alex (PS5)
l must say l am not surprised. I am sorry to say that l just wish DTG would get one edition working really well, before introducing the next version of the game. It seems to me TSW6 has many of the faults of TSW5.
The main motto in TSW6 is announcements, so sound...so we should probably turn off the video, that will solve the problem with the textures
DTG Jamie when is someone within senior management at DTG going to explain why this happened again, apologise to the community and explain what is being done to avoid yet another disastrous release? Or are DTG Matt DTG JD going to shamefully hide and remain mute not showing the community and customers the respect they deserve with a full explanation and apology?
To be fair its a lovely piece of dlc and gorgeous to look at too & in the main there aren’t too many issues. Certainly some of issues encountered are probably more to do with DTG’s poor & lazy optimisation.
For a number of years it was an unwritten rule that forum members did not " ping " DTG personnel. I don't know when that understanding was trashed. I don't think they like it and usually don't respond. I've certainly never done it.
so far I am liking this route a lot, nice scenery, lots of curves, rolling stock, speed variety... and yes the performance is thrash, but so is my PC
With blurry textures potentially getting fixed on Birmingham to crewe can we see other routes get sorted like Mildmay line that also have blurry textures?
A few disappointments their is no Oxley Curve for northbound service out of oxley stable point. Restricted spawning of different locos Appears not to use any the random signal and loco failure in trainsim 6
I don't think that curve is electrified so it couldn't be used for moving trains out of Oxley. Trains from the north just reverse at Wolverhampton. In fact, I don't think it is used much at all, for freight or ECS moves.
At Precisely 16:29:35 A Service Signal Failure happens whether your in Timetable mode or On Foot. Tried to scan through the map quickly but couldn't find anything. Have recorded as well
The position of signal BM 5309 at platform 9 in Birmingham New Street is shifted in relation to the contact in the track which is the actual signal ...this results in some AI trains passing the Red signal and the game is over.. See time 16:29:30 and AI train stop 1V12
I found three situations, I described them, one is then eliminated during full operation by unit 350, I also described it in the discussion here on the forum ...... and all the reported crashes that were time-specific always fit into this overview .... then there is the critical place Platform 1 in Wolverhampton in relation to stopping Pendolino units ...... I also described it ........ but there it is random, I experienced it practically once, the others were always Class 170 X Cross and BM 5309
Blurry textures are Unreal Engine's way of saying "Your equipment is underpowered." When VRAM overloads, the engine, as designed, starts reducing LOD, meaning that now up close you're seeing the textures intended for 300 meters away.
Hey folks, so just a quick update: I know we don't have much that's been posted, but we're waiting on updates to be finalized, so I'm hoping (as I'm sure y'all are too) for the update to come out tomorrow. I've been crazy busy today, so I'm sorry for the late update on my end. I'll be in a little earlier to help or see if it releases in the AM (US time)/Afternoon (UK Time) tomorrow and document how the update goes.
As far as I am concerned (playing on pc) this is unreservedly the best route ever for tsw. slow speed around Birmingham and high speed after Stafford. Now that the Voyager has been included in the layers it is totally absorbing. Community mods add branding to the 350's. Needs arrival times adding to the hud but other than that just wow! Couple this with the latest weather mod which gives real time weather and its like being there. No obvious stutters, getting a mostly steady 60fps too.
