Some things do improve. Went back to TSW4 to drive the class 377 on the London Commuter and noticed the AWS sounds are distorted. Playing the same route in TSW6 the AWS is crystal clear. So I'll stick with TSW6 (for now). With regards to blurry textures in fairness I've never noticed them in pre TSW5 routes while playing TSW5/6.
It's very interesting that you've mentioned this one. Because this is something I've been going on about for years since BML updated because I used to love the 375 before they updated the soundset and because of this issue I barely ever touched it or the other electrostars. I've just been back through and looked at the BML 377, SEHS 375, SEHS 465 (which was the worst), WCMLS 377 and you're right they definitely aren't distorted now. This was a particular bug bear on the 465 which is absolutely brilliant but I used to have to turn off the Safety systems because it was unbearably loud and distorted. The volume is still somewhat too loud on the 465 but the distortion being gone makes them so much more playable! DTG Alex Were there any changes done to the sound on Xbox for this for the update to TSW6?
From my limited testing the Signal bell also works much better now too. The sounds are still a bit unbalanced IMO especially on the 375 and 465 from outside the train. But they're not crackling or distorted now
I'd the pleasure of *really* driving a 142 recently, on an "experience" day at a heritage railway. Can assure all, the sounds are incredibly accurate - as is the performance of that unit!
