Can we please have a properly working gsmr (registering properly by putting in headcode and signal number)
Sorry, but in my opinion it adds little value. Whether you turn it on and it registers automatically or you enter something manually, it's quite limited in usefulness. Even in the 101 Expert, it doesn't add much. I think there's still so much that needs to be fixed that, in my view, this should be put on the back burner and other things should take priority. Its the same category as working toilets in TSW.....
Okay what will it bring in terms of more saftey? Its a communication system or telephone to talk right? And in TSW with who you like to talk then?
With the additional of events, the signaller can send out a general stop message to every driver's GSM-R, this is the event of another running a red signal or running a red signal yourself as well as other operational incidents that require trains to be stopped. When receiving a general stop message the driver is required to bring the train to a stop in the shortest distance possible (Emergency Brake application) and wait for further instructions to avoid conflicting movement with the affected train. This would entail a higher level of operational simulation, as well as the usual features of the radio would help deepen the immersion within the game.
Yeah i know but known of them are functional in the game and DTG did tell they have no plans for it. For example emergency situations are not there due rules for the licencing. They not allowed to bring in suecide stuff or other situations where people can get harmful simulations in game.
No desire at all for this. It adds nothing to the game for a lot of work. Every situation we'd need are already in the game.
Yeah they have to fix a lot of it! So this GSMR wish makes no sense at the moment. I don't need more broken stuff
I'm just saying that they should change the registration from just pressing the on/off button to having to do that and then putting the headcode and signal number in as its not realistic.
Wouldn't that only be needed the first run of the day on a cold start? I really dunno. That's how it works in a cockpit.
