PS5 Not Having This Now Dtg.

Okay I’m gonna say it how it is. Or how I feel about DTG now.

It’s no surprise to hear from many past DTG customers about the lack of fixes with past content.
Even now TSW5 I can’t use and now DTG have blanked work which has caused my PS5 to completely freeze. Sending me blocks to my PS5 system. And I’m not having it no more.

Fed up with the constant rush of new games yet endless excuses or issues left unresolved and the same will be the same for TSW6 this time next year. A mess like TSW5 and now my system.
Leave feedback here and there even people raising tickets but get a getting nothing.

DTG you have broken my PS5 I can’t not shut it down, It crashed sent an error report but went back to loading screen now broken my PS5.

WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING AT????. I have mental health conditions and what you have done is completely unacceptable to make a person suffer like this.

You have targeted me and obviously want to shut me down.
After the messages left with DTG Matt how is aware if my issues as he did respond to find out.
Well I didn’t find out what the crack was and nor do I now. Why blank when you could just explain.

And by blanking GBR of the side of train mean everyone else will have work blanked or removed?.
If not then why just me?.

Yes this might seem a rant but right now with my PS5 broken and when trying to use the class 395 which is blanked. That’s caused my PS5 system to fail.

Yep I can not shut it down my controller or by the front button on the console. PS5. It’s frozen completely with this screen.


What are you going to do about this? I’m waiting. You have sent data that has caused this issue.
Is that what a paying DTG customer gets now. Bullied and with broken systems.

Firstly I slightly apologise for the outburst yet you will understand if you knew how such things can destroy my logic at times.
One because it’s not the first time it has happened and why I mentioned DTG Matt. Went back to Team DTG Project 2024.
Work was blanked back then on a 395. Then this work was completely removed and replaced with a standard GWE.

I have evidence as it’s been shared here when the incidents happened and still have the photos. DTG did stop me from using Team DTG 395 and the LNER Class 43 Farewell livery. These acts where the tipping point for my mental health to really decline and so when seeing the yellow on the 395 is the same as last time. Oh and when I should be able to load in with that train on the SEH it did what it did.

My system to complete freeze, no not broken but in my mind I feel it is if I can’t get the game to simply operate properly.
All other games run fine. I have done a complete data rebuild before downloading TSW6. This was due to issue of WCML crashing.
TSW5 hasn’t been right since adding various DLC packs. I haven’t been able to play the game or much of the routes due to crashing.
So I’ve followed everything Sony advises about crashing games and even the thread set up by DTG on the right course of action.

I’ve taken all those steps still have crashes. And basically I’ve had enough. I can’t by or relax with DTG products anymore.
The past issue from 2024, Blanking work!, So yes DTG do have done this in the past. Ask my Doctors why I went mad, even had the silly thoughts because making liveries was all I had after Covid and DTG took it away.

You took the life out of me and I’m not going to let this happen again. I’ve spent so long trying to get my mind back to some normal state.
Not one of emotional responses or thoughts but one of clarity.
And so what am I to think when the game feels broken, DLC products have quality issues but what’s the point on raising a ticket if DTG are the ones who say if it’s broken or not. IE will not act unless it effects a wider user base. Leave feedback, nothing.
And then when I seen my work blanked again then as I say try using the game crashes. For the work to be blanked some coding must’ve been sent for the system and game to make the necessary adjustments, blanking. Or like in 2024 a full unit replaced. The game can’t simply choose what to blank. So I will not accept what you say as fact because a certain livery has been targeted.

The scars go back to 2024 and I don’t think DTG understands how much it damaged my state of mind. I came back this year jumped right into the Railway 200 or R200 Team Project to help me with getting better in how to mix with others again. I feel okay but not when I feel DTG are playing with my work and with no explanation for it then (2024) and now. It feels like history is repeating itself and I will not let DTG take away what I love or even have to feel this way with no plausible reasoning whatsoever for work to be blanked or even completely removed with a different unit livery that prevents the use of it for own personal use. That’s nothing to do with Sony.

This is a simple situation where I as a community member has had enough. Had enough of poor product quality and lack of any 3rd parties involvement in feedback threads as DTG again won’t act if it’s not disastrous to the core game operation. The constant crashes on the WCML south route I have no answers for even after following all the necessary steps. And then the issue with work being blanked again yet want me to foolishly believe DTG have nothing to answer for. And as a customer feel this entire situation has been a left to one side.
It even made me we think about this weeks Play Lab position as I was going to come down if chooses that is.

So to make it clear in what I’d like to see happen because I will not let this happen again, I want to relax and enjoy creating and playing TSW without the hassle I am now.
Going forward with this I personally feel that as the whole situation started back in 2024 after the private discussion between myself and DTG Matt. (Team DTG. Chris, Kat, Alex, Matt.) After that it was then when work started being blanked and even seen patterns in numbers or subs. Like they are frozen and not moved for years. I approached the appropriate staff member for advice and what was the reasoning things going the way they did. Ie working being blanked then totally ignored when screaming out for answers.

And no it looks like I’ve come fully circle and back where I was. If I have no real answers or explanation for what went on then and now then the mind will wonder why. That leaves me feeling anxious about what to do or even play the game. Especially if I now have to do a AC power off to unlock my frozen PS5 on playing a DTG product. I don’t have any crash issues with any other game, the odd time yes but TSW5 and now TSW6 with the same WCML route is ridiculous. Doing a full AC power off is not good for my PS5 as data can be lost even corrupted by doing it this way.

Anyway this can’t go on, and because this has happened before with no explanation from anyone or DTG then yes I will feel targeted because a game runs on coding. Something has to be altered within that coding for the side of a train to suddenly appear blanked.

Or why else would it be there?.

Anyway I thank you for your time, and if possible i would like this to be resolved properly and privately with DTG Matt if at all possible.
I did and do have a DM chat from the original discussion and not just wanting to speak to the a DTG staff member just for the hell of it.
I’d like to put to bed and end any doubts about what’s taken place. So I can move on without the mental stress and aggravation that comes along with a situation that’s been going for some time now.

Hi it been over a week now with no response from you on the matters I’ve experienced now and what’s gone on in the past.
I would still like all of what’s gone on in the past cleared up, or do I really have to raise a formal complaint?.

I still don’t feel comfortable with what’s gone in the past and for me to fully relax in order to enjoy TSW.
It’s got to a point where all the fun has been dragged at of me even my passion which isn’t good when as a community member do as much as one can to mix up it a little to have fun with others. But again I feel what’s gone on is removing all that now.

Especially if after all the time it went and how I’ve been treated yet to this do point still not peep.
And I know you target or targeted me in the past because I have the evidence of that happening.
So unfortunately I can’t believe you on that matter and again would like to find a solution to why it happened in the first place so I can actually relax after all this time.

It’s never been discussed so feel after all this time and the recent upset it’s needs to be.
For the longer it gets ignored speaks volumes.

Hello Jan. Yes I did mean to say I appreciate that right now might be a difficult time.

So I will make it simple.

I’m glad you have spoken to DTG Matt as it was He and Chris not sure if that’s a member of your team whom sadly passed away.
If so it was via Chris I got the permission from the relevant members to do the Team DTG livery. If I remember correctly I think you passed comment and thanks at the time. I possibly even asked about a joint DTG and Focus livery. But sticking with the main point is I went ahead and did what I promised or arranged at the time with Chris and then Matt.

I have to bring this part up about the arrangements side because I agreed to make all members a livery of their choice.
Chris a Class 700 which I’d attempted to work on with SICH Rail but the model has defects on. Layering issues.
Kat I made a class 08 or Katharos in Dragon Rail and a SD40 for Alex. Then it left a main topic of conversation with Matt on making a Team DTG Christmas livery with a secondary purpose for Matt or DTG to have its own in house train company or livery.
I felt it would be interesting for Matt to have fun with by including or expanded on the ideas for some of the charity events he works on or sponsors. Just an idea.

Now after completing the 395 livery or team DTG Christmas livery I also made a LNER livery on a Class 43.
And it’s here I use the term blanking because the Class 395 livery for the standard Train sim rail livery was suddenly blanked.
Blanked I mean a panel was placed over the logos and so I couldn’t make any changes because the panel blanked the work area.
Then for the class 43 or LNER livery was completely replaced with a standard GWE livery so I couldn’t even edit nor enjoy the work done previously.

Evidence of that event.
So the first picture is the original design and because I felt it had been altered then DTG wouldn’t allow it to be uploaded on CC.
Yet when I went back to alter I found it had been replaced with what you see in the forth picture.
The plan LNER logo and photo going over the Forth Rail Bridge is one I finally uploaded after over a year.
The last photo is what happened similar to the 395 of Team DTG Christmas livery and the standard Train Sim Rail designed for Matt.

This means I feel targeted by what actions or restrictions was placed on work that prevented any way to alter or remove what DTG had done.
So blanking is a term I use when DTG placed a un removable panel like the one seen in the fifth and last photo.
And when a completely different unit (GWR) replaces the LNER livery I was working on which stopped my from enjoying the hours spent editing. Can you now see why I don’t use the terms targeting me lightly because I perfectly know what this would mean.

Then we move on the personal effects of what DTG done.
Because as you have noticed I’ve been doing liveries for some time and I have more because I work across the 3 accounts one being Blackstripe I think. My catalogue says I’m on the 400 mark but here it’s not about how many, but how I’d like to understand a little about rights etc even work or support DTG. You might notice I’ve been placing a DTG logo in places.

My way of trying to mark or involve DTG branding to some of my work.
So it’s here I feel when doing as much as could to have fun and enjoy the whole experience of team DTG even with Matt as I shared some secret with me at the time and so kept it under wraps but it all went downhill after that.

All I was left with was basically a broken heart that I did what I did to help do something for DTG and yet what did I get in return.
Hardly a thanks no communication from Matt when I approached him about the situation of work being blanked and more importantly how devastating it was for my mental health.

For the situation was this. I was a key worker which left me unwell for over two years, I tried going back to work struggling and then I suffered a massive back injury. I felt my life was over with Covid and its effects and then a back injury that put me back to square one.
Couldn’t move etc. My state of mind went down hill as 40 year old man feeling like he could no longer work or provide.
A man’s duty you could say and so TSW became the only way to keep me going in some aspects.
Without going to deep but with nothing else around me then TSW was my only escape to feel like I was part of something.
Gave me a sense of purpose even if it wasn’t real or a job shall we say.

Non of what I say is to make anyone feel bad for my situation but to understand who TSW was the only thing keeping me positive and going in life. So when DTG did blank the 395 then that with the class 43 I lost it. I seen what DTG did was take my only think in my life away.
I had nothing and so technically wanted to end it all.

That’s how bad the experience was and made me.
And please I don’t want you or Matt even DTG thinking what I do was to gain anything in return. It’s not but I couldn’t understand what I’d done wrong because no one said anything.

Even now today I’m still no wiser to what went on.

So to summarise the keys points are as follows.
Blanking of work or removing the ability to edit or enjoy for personal use. Hence the feeling of being targeted and with no clear explanation for such actions. This is all referring back to any clear arrangement in place yet was altered with no explanation.
Why be ignored privately or publicly when looking back now it was clear to see the effect’s it had on me personally.
All what happened lead me to be technical nearly being sectioned but upon investigation found to have ADHD for which now on medication for.
Yet conditions like depression and Bipolar disorder have been linked with how I have been in the past and even today can suffer with and as of yet haven’t been ruled out. So this is why my post or what’s being said can reflect that state of mind and why when something happens like last week just brings back memories for which will effect my judgment or response.

I like to think any kind of response now is one of clear mind and judgment not of emotional turmoil like in the past it has.
It has been left for so long with no explanation for why something I thought was for good reason or community moral went the way it did.
Matt said have fun but I feel even today fun has been taken away.

Fun to me is ideas and some I’ve reached out to Matt with, because I do try and think of new ways for DTG to evolve.
It’s here away from the main points I’d like to gain certain permissions or run ideas past DTG members so I don’t fall foul of any brandings rights or not even having the respect to speak to the brand owners IE DTG. I’m not sure what’s the easiest way to get a simple green light with DTG permissions. All this tho is side issue and me just wanting to open up some fun projects again with DTG permissions.


The main points are the ones already pointed out.
Why all the unnecessary blanking and ignoring when a clear channel or permission to DM was granted.
The feeling of being targeted because of DTGs actions and with no clear explanation.
And the personal experience and damage to my mental health which also meant not enjoying or using a product I’ve spent hundreds of pounds on for over a year. All because DTG did what it did and the scars are still here as we speak because it has been left for so long.

I just want answers and to be part of this community and CC by adding quality work by enjoying the only think I still have left.

And I’m not a daft person. I see patterns from Reddit to here, in that people with strong opinions do get targeted.
Why because being a mediator is not always about community safety but keeping a reputation of a company away from any real danger.
I’m not saying that’s the case here yet I do understand that some of my strong opinions could make me target.

This shouldn’t be the case yet if I do feel targeted in one place would that mean I am in other places.
You can’t blame me for thinking like this and why it’s so important for me to fully relax and continue to support DTG the best I can safe in the knowledge I’m no one’s target. And if I was in the scope it’s for good reasons not bad.
Because as I say TSW is what I love so do want to support the franchise but how even as a simple customer can’t do that if feeling the way I have and do again with recent events.

Hope I’ve made it clear this time and again I appreciate your time dealing with this.
Because I’m now behind by a week due to what’s happened and I did want to try enjoy Halloween by doing something fun.
So with that I also appreciate the time constraints you have with patches and updates.

Therefore happy to leave this while time is tight yet please keep this situation in mind.

Just a quick response if you’re going away. I must point out this was two years ago on TSW4. So again I don’t think it is anything of what you say. Simply put it’s not a blurring issue if a completely different unit is replacing work I’d be working on.

To be fair in LD I don’t have issues or had many crashes. I think I can count on one hand how many times it has. I’ve never had any real issues apart from what I feel is again a target issue for work to have something on (Blanking) or completely unrelated model.
Ie A whole LNER livery replaced with a standard DTG model that I can’t alter at all.

Now again I can’t see how any of the issues with blurring today would have any bearing on what happened in 23/24.

If so and all these problems I’d encountered was a technical issue back in 23/24 then why was that ignored and me in general?.
For upon being informed of making notes of all these events, ie looking back my state of mind wasn’t good and clear distressed.
Why I eventually left the game and went down hill.

Therefore I’ve mentioned the time as I feel it’s relevant to why I have to respectfully disagree and it’s not directly related to blurring issues.
Then or now. Bugs or errors on say the class 700 or 801 carriage then yes I’d say thats an issue or bug with blurred or defective model parts. As you have also mentioned and I thank you for the kind words is that yes most of my work is highly detailed but again non of my most complicated work with the maximum 1000 layer limit have no problems at all. The time of making the 395 Team DTG and LNER I was on the 300 limit on TSW3 before carrying on with TSW4 and its new decal limits.

Moving on to any problems or issues today with TSW5 then TSW6 I’m providing that information now as a reference or separate issue from past events.
Main concern is TSW5 and now the same on TSW6 is the WCML South crashing on most routes selected.
It’s a real problem because I’ve followed or taken the appropriate steps to remedy any PS system errors.
That’s my main concern right now.
Then there’s a number of added DLC content like the DRS and ONE livery pack or fright pack that has bug issues.
Areas of the model affected by a decal placed in other areas. Mirrored when no mirror is set.
And then with the ECML class 47 ‘IKB’ with the wheels missing when using in LD. (The model is fine when using in standard form).
I bought that pack for the fancy wheels only to find there missing.
Small quality issues here and there but when paying out for these products with LD in mind and do find them to have small issues that prevents me from fully enjoying them does start to grind my gears. Again there’s only so much I can take if I feel I’m just wasting money all the time. It’s getting to a point where nearly everything released has some kind of issue or defect.

Again for reference purposes I’d say it’s here when being publicly open about issues is why I might have been a target.
I felt it was after I made comments about DTGs poor attention to detail when a class 43 (You see same class that was removed) didn’t clear snow from the screen nor did snow melt on the body where it wouldn’t do on a warm body shell.
So for me personally I would say the more I or others are vocal about DTG get punished in one way or another.
It does sound far fetched yes but again I seen the relation between the two.
I think this would be where anxiety or stress level increase even today I still worry as I have been quite vocal of late.

For if this is a problem or hidden situation then please allow me to clear any ill feelings if any.
It’s never my real intention to go bad naming someone or a company, I feel I am fair and do try keep my emotions now out of the mix.
I consider both parties have a reputation to keep so again I don’t take any pleasure from being open about issues with DTG as a company.
I’d rather consider TSW and DTG like I’m bit of a fan boy. Again the nature of my work brings DTG branding to the forefront.
I see it as I’d want to support something that allows me to create and enjoy what DTG can offer then I want to support over being more of an outsider moaning all the time.
I try do that with things like the Team DTG, And the more recent with the Unofficial TSW Preservation Group or ideas of Horror stories for Halloween. I’ve even made a livery that I was hoping to get a green light on for my way of celebrating TSW6 release but with a small note about Chris so here could be part of the game, like with the bench you and DTG added.
And done this for Halloween with again the ideas of stories and having some fun. I like to try thinking differently by pushing my luck you could say.
So I’d say both reputations are at risk, and I don’t want to be falling out with no one or a company.
Why I have reached out to DTG Matt directly at times so I can get permission for some of my work and do so with peace of mind.
I was also willing to come down for the first session with Play Lab but didn’t hear back yet did get an invite for the following session taken place through October. Again I was going to apply yet I’ve not been to well for travelling such distance nor with the recent upset again.

I’m interested in what DTG do and would like see with me own eyes rather than being so assuming most of the time.
With that I also fully understand what a NDA is so open as I am I know when to keep my lips closed.
Deeper a secret the better. I’m all for secrets lol.

So yes I’ve been longer than I’d would have liked but I hope it all serves away for you to understand my point or clear up any misunderstanding or confusion of ill feelings.
Plus if you check your email while away then might be a good read for you.

If there was anything you could do in the mean time that might help you dealing with these matters separately is if anyone from DTG could get back to me about one or two projects I’d like to open with DTG’s permission. I’ll keep my question simple nor abuse any DM access for I give you or any DTG staff member the permission to contact me as any old email address information linked to this account is lost and so un accessible.
