I'm hoping that AWC Class 805 will feature some better sounds. I saw this clip on TikTok of someone setting up a class 803 that featured the Train Fault Acknowledgement Alarm going off when the reverser is set up. I agree completely - especially with the train fault acknowledgement alarm feature. What's more is that the bugs on the 801 and 802 really need to be sorted out! I pointed out quite a list in another thread, but briefly all the small minor details which have been implemented incorrectly/ left out for me really impact the overall experience, and this is why I haven't purchased the Riviera Line - yet
The 802 sounds are not too bad in external view and yes I know technically you shouldn’t hear the diesel power packs in the cab (the driving cars are non powered) having decided to pump in the sound unfortunately they raised it several octaves so it sounds like a shrill whirr rather than the quite throaty roar you hear when sitting in the saloon.
