Loco Dlc From Old Routes

Today I discovered something interesting. I own HRR and BR101. I didn't have HRR installed and today I only installed the BR101 and it's now available on routes like Kassel - Wurzburg and Dresden - Riesa. Is this new, because I believed you always needed to install the route of the loco add-on too. Is this working for all loco add-ons of TSW1 and TSW2, or just the BR101, maybe because of the expert BR101? Btw, I don't own the expert one.

Yes, since TSW3 they seperate them, but it's strange the BR101 is seperate now too, rennekton#1349 mentioned the BR101 is the only one from the old loco's. Is this because this is the only one with a lot of services on other routes?

 

IIRC, the need for the change had some connection to the ability of the 101 Expert to sub for it.

 

Right, I was already thinking that way. Also the BR101 gives extra services on multiple routes, so I'm happy they did it this way.
