I suggest New Canadian Routes Due to The Lack of them, WE ONLY EVER HAD 1 WHICH WAS THE OAKVILLE SUB! We Should get more routes from Canada like a GO TRANSIT Route From Toronto To Appleby for a connection with Oakville. This Is why i am fighting to get a new Canadian route like Toronto To Appleby, also there is a game on roblox called Ro scale train simulator: Toronto, thats how i got the route, there could also a route for the rocky mountaineer with BC Rail Sd40-2 for an add on and then a CP Es44 and the rocky mountaineer Gp40 and Gp40W for the locomotives, the rolling stock would be The Rocky Mountaineer Passenger cars and for the freight cars would be like the horseshoe curve with the random rolling stock for the Vancouver to Banff add on
i would love another canadian route, the oakville feels pretty small and boring compared to other NA routes, however u need to write much more info if u want a them to do it and even then the odds are pretty slim, this post just wont do it but its great that u show interest in it
CP/CPKC: ET44AC, ES44AC, AC4400CW(M), SD70ACU, SD30C-ECO, GP20C-ECO, SD40-2, SD40-2F on Kicking Horse Pass; include Spiral Tunnels and great scenery CN: ex-DM&IR line w/ ET44AC, ES44AC, SD75IACC, AC44C6M, SD40-2(W), SD40T-3, C44-9W, C40-8/C40-8W Siemens Chargers for VIA Corridor Route; also GO Transit route w/ MP54ACs VIA Rail Canadian with F40PHs; include special-painted units; also CN freight power and rolling stock
A Canadian freight route would be great amazing, especially in the west with the awesome mountain scenery... unfortunately it seems like DTG's appetite for freight is dissappearing... but if they do another Canada would be my #1. Passenger wise, the best one to do IMO would be GO Transit - but apparently DTG can't get any licensing from Metrolinx. If they ever do, they have a basis with the Bombardier Bi-Levels and MPI locos. VIA I'd love but I can't think of any routes they run that would fit well into TSW. They are intercity and most of the cities are too far apart and on lines that would be pretty boring. Montreal's Exo might be one that could work. We already have some of their rolling stock (ALP-45 and Bombardier Multilevel/BiLevel. Not sure if any of their routes would be good or if they can get licensing.
Sudbury-White River! Bonus rolling stock of a hi-rail pickup for a scenario where the budd car's derailed and you need to pick up the campers waiting for it.
Suggest one Canadian route and be detailed. That's how you get them to listen. Saying "Canadian stuff" is too vague.
Also CN Heritage Units (ET44ACs and GTW SD70M-2) and CPKC new livery ET44s/ES44s and SD70ACU military units. Maybe CP Hydrogen locos too?
How about the Canadian section of the Amtrak maple leaf route ? Since they have an Amtrak license Toronto union to buffalo exchange street would be good. stops: Toronto union Oakville Aldershot Grimsby St Catharines Niagara falls (Ontario) could end here if too long. Niagara falls (New York) Buffalo exchange street
I’d love to see something in the Montreal area, but probably tricky to pull off. The “heavy rail” commuter routes aren’t super interesting, the Montreal Metro is completely underground and the REM (opening this month!!) is fully automated like London’s DLR. I’d vote for something in western Canada.
