For anyone tempted to buy Frankfurt S-Bahn for console, it has a reduced timetable.

DTG called it a standard timetable but it's reduced, so even 50% off it's still too much.

Yeah I also wouldn't recommend anyone gets it for now.

Annoyingly I got tempted to buy it at the last sale. It gets boring very quickly with how empty it is, which is a shame because it's a good looking route scenery-wise

Until the full timetable that DTG are no doubt working on gets released for console (possibly a hint of sarcasm there lol), I won't be purchasing it.

It'll be the same for any future routes as well

Grabbed Frankfurt S-bahn in the last sale, I think it was the summer/winter sale.
not to be rude or anything but if I had listened to everyone telling me NOT to buy it I feel like I would have missed out on an actually pretty good route for learning German safety system. its busy enough to keep you seeing other trains and I know I am in the minority here but I don't *really* care about what's in the terminus waiting for me to look at but what I can actually drive.

Granted its not going to be everyone's cup of coffee but I think a blanket "don't buy it, ever, at all, until X" is a bit much when there are absolutely going to be people out there who will enjoy it as it is now..... and if we do ever get timetable parity with PC then that will be awesome.

TL;DR - it isn't everyone's cuppa, but its not worth outright dismissing

What irked me about that DLC is that they didn't lower the price for the console versions at launch. That would have smoothed over the fact that console users get less content because DTG can't optimise their game.

But paying the same for less? Nah, I'm a customer, not a consumer.

I would say the same when gen 8 gets a reduced timetable like with Morristown and Dresden - Leipzig, but they at least get the full timetable when they get a gen 9 machine.

Buy more content and get more layers! *

    * Note: You can't actually use them as DTG disable them by default and if you choose to enable them, the game will be so blurry and crash so often it's essentially unplayable.

For 50% off it's worth it. Even with the reduced timetable.

It's more about forcing a change with the main power we have as consumers: voting with our wallets. If the addon sells badly in its current state, it puts more pressure on DTG to actually fix it.

I think, with the full timetable, it would be my favourite TSW route. As it is, I'm not buying it at any discount until then.

I completely agree, even though I was hesitant at first due to the reduced TT, deep down I knew it was a good route, and I was right!
Even though it has a reduced TT it still feels moderately busy in most parts.

I was in the exact same boat. It's one of my most played German routes - which is awesome for getting me off the usual "I only play UK stuff" attitude.

Completely understand where you're coming from, and that's the beauty I guess of the free market. (I hope I used that right, sorry if not I'm super tired)

I think absolutely if it can get parity with the PC timetable then this is easily one of the best German routes in TSW.

It's a weird position really, it's still arguably a great route that can and does give (me at least and maybe others) a good deal of enjoyment - I also think that you aren't explicitly paying your $ for only included services and layers but also the actual route, the tracks, the platforms, trees, assets etc.

And for my (at the time) $40ish I felt I was getting a fair exchange of value for what I paid.

Except that in DTG world it doesn't work like that. If it doesn't sell well, they assume the market doesn't want it and never touch it again. Look at Spirit of Steam still an empty route and broken physics and hardly touched since launch.

For what it's worth I think Frankfurt is worth it at sale price (but not at full price). It's still pretty enjoyable, but if you have ever seen it on PC, it's going to be disappointing. I certainly wouldn't buy it in the hope that the full timetable will come. I have my doubts they are even trying to fix it. In the slim chance that they find enough optimisation that it suddenly works we might see the full timetable, but I doubt it.

Finally bought Harlem and enjoying the safety stuff.
I've not been at all interested in this route before, being on sale previously, but for some reason the planets aligned and it all came to fruition.
    Ain't that odd?

The problem for me is that I've seen it in real life. Knowing what it's really like, knowing its potential, would make it hard to enjoy, and would break the immersion.

    Still broken on PS5
Peninsula Corridor: MP15DC Switcher Loco Add-On
    only downloads PS4 version
Result: TSW6 Add-On Loco for PS5 as PE4 content on an external drive used for old PS4 games.
An issue back in TSW5 and similar to the Epic Games issue with DB BR 204 Loco Add-on.
It is my choice to run in TSW6 only add-ons released for PS5 and to have that content on a fast internal SSD.
A sale does not fix this.

Is the problem that DTG does not know that PS5 allows designating drives for content type ? I see no such on PC. Does Xbox console have this feature ?
Does DTG not know PS5 allows adding M.2 internal SSD as a drive destination for PS5-only content ? I keep much more demanding PS5-only games on the primary internal SSD and games compatible with PS5 on M.2 and old PS4 content on external SSD. Assetto Corsa Comp. is internal, and old AC is on external. TSW6 is on the M.2 drive, a fast internal SSD added by me.

I'm not really sure what the issue your having is, the PlayStation 5 already installs PS5 games to the internal drive. If you have put an extra internal drive in then you can also tell the PS5 where to install the games (the primary, secondary or if PS4 external)

I'm almost positive though that you've never been able to have a game on one internal drive and the DLC on a 2nd internal drive on a console although happy to be corrected.

Why not just tell the PS5 to install all PS5 games to the 'faster' internal one?

You can indeed set it to install all PS5 games to a m.2 SSD. All DLC for a game has to be on the same storage device.

I have mine set to ps4 to internal ssd and ps5 to my m.2. Not had an issue

Setting your game to install on your SSD for PS5 is on you. You need to set the destination for it to install all new games, including TSW6. This isn’t an automatic feature for this game or any other.

Once I set it that’s where everything installs, unless I run out of memory on it, than it installs elsewhere. I don’t use a HDD though, I have a total of 6TB for my PS5. 2TB SSD that came with the console and I inserted an external WD 4TB SSD card.
