Anyone who can help me with the settings to get more FPS instead only having 8 FPS which is difficult to play Trainsimulator? On my PC I have 74 FPS so what to do get about the same?
If you compared you specs between the PC and the Laptop you would see. The Laptop has a smaller Graphics Card than the PC so it won't give you the same performance. You could buy a very expensive Gaming Laptop to get better FPS Peter
As mentioned above there's a marked difference between desktop and mobile GPUs so you probably won't get the same experience but I wonder if TS is using the GPU at all. There was a problem a while ago with some installations of TS ignoring the existence of a discrete GPU and defaulting to the basic HD graphics. You may have to force the issue in the NVidia control software. (Never had to solve this problem myself so can't be specific.)
The only solution I have for the moment is to play the game on 32-bits as it gives me 74 FPS. I have the graphic in the game on medium and on 64-bits it gives me just 17-20 FPS. Gonna have a closer look on it in the coming weekend.
Well drip feeding clues about an issue isn't the way to get it fixed so if you have anything else to add I suggest you bring it up but, IIRC, it was the 64bit version that was defaulting to integrated graphics ignoring GPUs.
