Once you claim, it will stay in your account to play forever, and it will be your way to access the latest improvements and features, and purchase new TSW6 content, like the upcoming Stuttgart-Heilbronn route!

For more information on the Free Starter Pack, please read our Train Sim World 6 FAQs.

Frankenbahn: Stuttgart – Heilbronn from Dovetail Games
Welcome back to another update for Frankenbahn: Stuttgart – Heilbronn, a new southwest German route coming from our teams set in the 2000s era, and featuring the new DB BR 140 and New Wittenberger Steuerwagen cab car!

For today's update, we'll be focussing more on the included stock that you'll be able to drive, as well as details on the new features you can expect!

The new DB BR 140 included with the route will offer yet more classic locomotive traction in Train Sim World, with features such as the single release brake. This can offer some challenging gameplay, managing the application and release, the latter of which can be triggered when the lever is placed one step down. The BR 140 will support a standard set of toggleable Train Faults.

The Wittenberger Cab Car adds equally classic passenger stock, with multiple control systems compatible with different types of locomotive. The development team are currently working on implementing these controls with different locomotives in-game, including the BR 218 diesel locomotive. We will confirm which locomotives will be able to function with this cab car closer to release.

Like the BR 140, toggleable train faults will be implemented for the cab car, as will passenger announcements throughout the coaches.

In addition to the new DB BR 140 and Wittenberger Cab Car, the route Add-on will include the DB BR 111, n-Wagen coaches and DB BR 363.

This variant of the BR 111 and n-Wagen coaches will be updated to feature the following toggleable Train Faults:
    • Wiper Failures
    • Pantograph Failures
    • Circuit Breaker Failures
    • Handbrake Failures
    • Stuck Passenger Doors
    • Passenger Lighting failures
Some minor bug fixes and improvements will also be made to this BR 111, n-Wagen coaches and BR 363 over previous versions.

As a final note, we can confirm this route will be developed for PC and Gen-9 consoles only (Available on Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X). We'll keep updating you over the next few weeks as more information and screenshot become available to showcase!

NEC New York – Stamford from Dovetail Games
We also wanted to share a small update on our new US route, heading back to the Northeast Corridor with a new Metro North M8 EMU!

Currently, our teams have just started working on the environment and track laying for the route, so it's a little early for screenshots and further information at this stage, but for those very keen about a new US adventure from our team, stay tuned over the next few months as we'll slowly start revealing new details and images as they become ready to share!

Announcing the BNSF GP60M & GP60B from High Iron Simulations
Now that we're approaching the final release of the Santa Fe Pack, which you can read about in our Santa Fe On Cajon Pass Gameplay Pack article we shared yesterday, the High Iron Simulations team are now looking ahead to announce some of their latest projects, this time introducing the distinctive “Super Fleet” GP60M and GP60B to Train Sim World 6!

HIS: "The Electro-Motive GP60M and cabless sister GP60B were among the most distinctive and stylish of North America’s third-generation diesels – and this duo is soon coming to TSW6!"

"Built by Electro-Motive in 1990-1991 at the request of the Santa Fe Railway to power the railroad’s “Super Fleet” intermodal trains, 63 3,800-horsepower GP60Ms equipped with wide-nose North American cabs were constructed along with 23 cabless GP60B booster units. Originally dressed in AT&SF’s legendary ”Warbonnet” livery, the GP60M/B fleet joined the roster of newly formed BNSF (Burlington Northern Santa Fe) in 1996, and the majority of the handsome and potent diesels remain in service today."

"This upcoming Locomotive Pack will deliver authentic and richly detailed renditions of the GP60M and GP60B in BNSF liveries. The GP60M will be included in BNSF “H2” and “H4” schemes, while the GP60B will wear BNSF’s “H1” livery. Joining the locomotives in the pack will be an all-new model of the railroad’s modern articulated “spine” intermodal car with trailer and container loads as well as an ex-Santa Fe GA-series ribbed-side three-bay covered-hopper in BNSF colors."

"The GP60M and GP60B will be put to work in a realistic selection of main line and local timetabled services and scenarios on the TSW Cajon Pass Route, and will offer a robust selection of bonus scenarios on the San Bernardino Route."

"The extraordinary Electro-Motive GP60M and GP60B in original Santa Fe red-and-silver Warbonnet livery as well as a “BNSF patched” edition of the Warbonnet livery will also become available in a forthcoming TSW Livery Pack."

Get ready to climb aboard one of North America’s most remarkable and notable contemporary diesels, with the upcoming TSW6 GP60M and GP60B from High Iron Simulations!

Avanti West Coast BR Class 805 from All Aboard Studios
Following the launch of their first add-on into Train Sim World 6 with Birmingham-Crewe, the All Aboard Studios team are back for an update on the Class 805 currently in development. Let's hear from from their team about their progress and further details!

AABS: "As we move closer to release, the Class 805 is now in its final stages of development and the team is excited to be adding another key piece to the modern look of the West Coast Main Line. Throughout testing the unit has brought a fresh and contemporary energy to the routes it serves. Its responsive traction, dual mode capability, newly captured 2024 audio and sharp Avanti styling all combine to give it a very present day feel. It has been designed to sit naturally within the modern railway and its arrival completes an important part of the current WCML picture."

"Alongside the 2025 timetable for WCML South, we are pleased to reveal that the Birmingham to Crewe route will also gain a full modern day twenty four hour timetable based on real operations in 2025. This does not replace the original 2019 version. Instead, it provides a completely different style of action that reflects how the route runs today. Liverpool services now turn back at Birmingham New Street, the Stoke loop service is represented through an AI shuttle that waits out on Stafford platform 6, and the much loved Class 390s between Crewe and Birmingham now call at Stafford with reduced wait times at Wolverhampton to better reflect the current pattern. The variety continues with broader freight representation, fresh railtour paths and a set of ECS moves that ensure there is always something new happening around you."

"The Class 805 sits naturally within this updated flow, strengthening the sense of a living, modern WCML without dominating the timetable. It contributes with a mix of short and long distance workings and regular depot movements to and from Oxley, helping the wider service pattern feel busy and up to date. West Midlands Railway continue to handle stopping and fast regional runs between Birmingham and Wolverhampton, LNWRs Class 350s manage their established semi fast pattern to Crewe, and Transport for Wales maintain their cross border movements in line with present day behaviour. A number of special workings also appear, including Class 47 tours and a recreation of the 2024 Class 323 farewell tour, each supported by unique empty stock activity."

"Across the full twenty four hour period the timetable contains 2171 services in total with 510 of them driveable. It makes full use of modern stock where appropriate with some older traction retained where it improves the completeness and gameplay value of the timetable. And as with other routes, any layers that affect immersion can be disabled to suit player preference. The aim is simply to provide another fully organised, believable and contemporary timetable for Birmingham to Crewe that stands confidently alongside the new WCML South 2025 timetable."

"With both routes now gaining their own modern day working patterns and the Class 805 tying the network together with its current intercity presence, the West Coast Main Line is about to feel more alive, more connected and more reflective of todays railway than ever before. We are excited for players to get their hands on the new BR Class 805 and its enhanced gameplay inclusions which give WCML fans even more to thrive on."

Thank you All Aboard Studios for the update this month, we look forward to sharing more information as we approach the end of the year, but for now let's head over to our friends at Just Trains for details on their two upcoming releases.

Transport for Wales Class 142 'Pacer' from Just Trains
Firstly, we wanted to provide a less-wordy, more-screenshot-ty update on the TfW Class 142 add-on, coming for the Cardiff City Network route, as it gets closer to release!

We've provided various updates on this add-on in our past Roadmaps, which you can jump to with our links, from the announce in April, 142 modelling details and key timetable information, but we'll also provide a short summary below:

Just Trains: "The Class 142 is arriving in its Transport for Wales livery, featuring LED Headlights, 2 leaf Bi-Fold doors, updated door open/close operating buttons, sanding equipment and additional key modelling details, such as the smash glass to access emergency door handle (non-operational), NRN (National Radio Network) and GSM-R antenna."

"The timetable included is set in 2019 where the service pattern on the valley lines was quite different compared to how it is now. Instead of trains going from Coryton to Penarth the trains from Coryton instead went to Radyr (a journey much quicker by foot as it’s a U shape) and the Penarth trains instead go to Bargoed and Rhymney instead of Coryton."

"Class 142’s run most of the valley line diagrams but in 2019 TfW had a couple of Class 37 diagrams with Mk2F’s running services up to Rhymney which you’ll be able to drive up to Heath High Level. The timetable will also be including Class 802’s, 150’s, 165’s and HST Castle sets for GWR traffic, 170’s and the once-a-day Class 220 for Crosscountry."

"For the longer distance TfW services you’ll have Class 150’s in their Ex-ATW guise."

We'll be sharing more details shortly about when you can expect to pick up this add-on, so be sure to follow our socials and latest news!

West Coast Main Line: Crewe–Preston from Just Trains
The Just Trains team are also continuing well with their development for the announced West Coast Main Line: Crewe–Preston add-on.

As a reminder, this route will explore a busy section in North-West England, set in the 1980s, including the historic railway town of Crewe, as well as a multitude of branches which will allow you to explore a number of lesser-known areas, such as the Deepdale branch north of Preston. You'll be driving the Class 86/4 on high-speed Passenger and Freight runs between Preston and Crewe, as well as updated and improved Class 20/0 and 47/3 locomotives!

Let's hear from their team on the latest updates and screenshots:
Just Trains: "[We are] continuing to develop the upcoming West Coast Main Line - Crewe to Preston route, and we wanted to provide a new selection of Work-In-Progress screenshots illustrating the front end variations of the Class 47/3, along with an image of the updated cab, featuring the vital Slow Speed Control for MGR Coal Operations."

"Along with the Class 47/3 we are also proud to display some images of the route itself, including Winsford Station, Salop Goods Junction Signal Box, Crewe Gresty Lane, Fiddlers Ferry Power Station, Warrington, Wigan Springs Branch TMD and Newton-Le-Willows station."

We'll continue to be sharing more news from the Just Trains team as they share progress updates, and equally, if you're looking to read more from their own blogs, be sure to visit the Just Trains In Development Blog Page for more information on both the Class 142 and Crewe-Preston route!

Cargo Line Volume 5: Nuclear from Skyhook Games
Announced back in June this year, the Skyhook Games team have been working hard on the next edition to the popular Cargo Line series, this time they're going nuclear! Let's hear a quick summary of the pack and history for this add-on:

Skyhook Games: "Introducing the FNA-D Flask Carrier wagons and their perfect partner the Type 1 Class 20/3 diesel locomotive in an unbranded Oxford blue livery, this pack represents where, during 1994, Direct Rail Services (DRS) had the sole purpose of taking over rail-based handling of nuclear material from British Rail, eventually operated a fleet of 21 examples of the English Electric Type 1s, being significantly upgraded with long-range fuel tanks, group standard headlight clusters, high-impact windscreens and a complete cab rebuild before outshopping them in iconic Oxford Blue livery with fully yellow ends and red buffer beams."

"In the 2010s, it was identified that replacements were required new batch featured several major updates including exposed framing, different bogies, and the ability to carry a wider range of flask designs. Despite the reduction in nuclear power plants in the UK since the millennium, the FNA-Ds can still be seen in use across much of the UK.”

Progress is coming along very well from these couple screenshots, and just next week we'll be back with a full announce article for Cargo Line Volume 5, exploring all the details about the pack you could want to discover ahead of it release, and a wider ranges of new images!

BR Class 90 from Alan Thomson Simulation
We're coming back with all-new screenshots following our announcement of this new add-on from the ATS team last month, so let's hand over to them for more!
ATS: "Progress on the Class 90 Freight Pack for TSW6 continues at pace. Since the last roadmap, members of the ATS team have taken part in a dedicated recording session to capture the full sound set for the Class 90, ensuring an authentic audio experience."

"Gameplay development has been led by ATS, with SimuGraph work progressing in close collaboration with the excellent team at AND Games. We’re pleased to report that the light at the end of the tunnel is very bright — gameplay is nearing completion."

"Livery creation has been handled by IMBUE, who’ve delivered a diverse and high-quality set of liveries that complement the pack’s flexible service mode. Players will be able to choose the freight run that suits them best, adding replayability and variety."

Please Note: Images displayed in this article may depict content that is still in development. The licensed brands may not have been approved by their respective owner and some artwork may still be pending approval.

"With a rich feature set and a deeply authentic driving experience, we’re confident the community will appreciate the attention to detail and realism this pack delivers."

Thank you from the ATS team, it's great to hear more details about the project, and the wonderful collaboration between your team with the AND & IMBUE groups!

London Overground Mildmay Line - Richmond Extension from Incredible Trains
We also have a short update from Johannes at Incredible Trains, creator of the London Overground Mildmay Line which released back in March, about his current project to extend the route to Richmond, and the potential for further improvements.
Incredible Trains: "Progress has been steady, but I'm looking to also bring the route up to the current TSW6 standard, adding announcements, train faults and temporary speed restrictions, but waiting to confirm the option to use real announcements [first]".

He's also noted looking at key fixes from the original release alongside this update to support performance and improve the experience, but we'll keep you informed of what changes will come once Johannes has been able to complete his work on the project.

We're excited to share more, and we know that many of you are eager to get your hands on these updates, so we'll keep you informed as Johannes continues to improve and bring new features to the route!

Introducing Firefly Simulations - A New TSW Partner!

Once again this month, we have the privilege to formally introduce new partners to our Partner Programme, with Firefly Simulations joining the rank, composed of members that you may know from across our online communities! Whilst we don't have details of their release this month, we wanted to give you a chance to learn more about their team ahead of any announcements on the horizon!

Q: Tell us more about your studio/team! (And where people may have heard about you?)

"Currently our team comprises of five people, but we will likely be expanding that in the future. Rather than speak for everyone on my team I’m going to let each of them say a little bit about themselves, and where you are likely to know them from."
Fawx (Adam): "People will know me from my previous timetable mods, and might have noticed I’ve gone quiet regarding those lately, this is why. I’m in charge of gameplay in our group, as well as signalling with Steve and some of the backend things."
Bescot (Steve): "I’ve been involved in train sim modding for a long time now! I was part of several teams creating routes and trains for a Japanese simulator called BVE, one of which was a fictional route network route called Network West Midlands. I was proud to have my London Underground Northern line route converted into a simulator at the London Transport Museum. More recently I've made a fair few mods for TSW and have been part of creating many EP packs for the game."
Charlie (Charlie): "People may have seen my name around the Train Sim Community website, publishing some of my own mods and collaborating on others. I’m in charge of train setup."
Jetwash (James): "Having fallen into train sims almost by accident around 2018 people may have seen my name around TSW, Train Sim Classic, the TSC site and the DTG forums for a number of years now. Over that period I’ve published a number of my own mods and collaborated on many others. I’m really proud of what we have achieved in a short space of time and am looking forward to this route breaking cover."
Spratty (Eddie): "Most people will know me on the Train Sim Community site for mods I've made for the PC users such as the Class 66 Megapack and the West Coast Main Line Enhancement Pack. I work on scenery 3d model creation."

Q: What is it that made you want to develop content for Train Sim World?

Fawx (Adam): "Creating modded timetables made me want to do more, and get more involved with TSW, it was something I really enjoyed, so figured it was worth a shot."
Bescot (Steve): "Whilst making mods and enhancement packs for TSW I've made friends with some very talented people. It was the natural step from creating mods, and beta testing for DTG to create something from scratch."
Charlie (Charlie): "It wasn't long after I started modding that I felt like I wanted to take things further, as I often tried to push the boundaries of what was possible with just mods. I wanted to take what I learned and do it officially, while still continuing to learn even more with the support of DTG."
Jetwash (James): "After modding for a while I wanted to take things further, as I felt I’d rapidly reached the limit of what was possible. It was as much finding the right group of people to take on the challenge with as anything else."
Spratty (Eddie): "Having worked on both the standard base Unreal editor and the public TSW editor since getting into this community 5 years ago, my aspiration was to always create official content for Train Sim World, and with the help of a few talented individuals within the Train Sim Community, now was the chance to properly show what I could achieve with the skills that I've acquired."

Q: Finally, what part of the development process are you really enjoying?

Fawx (Adam): "I do really enjoy creating timetables, it’s almost therapeutic at times when you get everything working together like a well oiled machine. The biggest thing that surprised me that I ended up enjoying was signalling. It’s a very logical system, and is quite rewarding to get right."
Bescot (Steve): "The teamwork, being able to come together seamlessly to solve issues between us has been a really good experience. The signalling work has also been interesting and I’ve enjoyed putting stations together. I initially said I'd concentrate on scenery, but since we starting work on our DLC I've been involved in most parts of the process.. I've learned a lot!"
Charlie (Charlie): "I've found the loco development process in particular to be challenging at times but highly rewarding when it comes to seeing the results."
Jetwash (James): "I enjoy creating as accurate a representation of the real world in the simulated sphere as possible. Whilst attention to detail is my default position, I also want to create a sense of identity and feel about a place, so where a 1-to-1 recreation of the real world isn’t possible, the player is still in no doubt as to where they are."
Spratty (Eddie): "For me, learning new tips and tricks on how to streamline my workflow processes when creating the models & textures from scratch has been by far the most enjoyable thing I've learnt since starting this project."
It's great to get an insight from all the members of the group, and learn more about Firefly Simulations! We have so many partners working on add-ons for TSW, and they all come in various team sizes, spread in different regions across the world, and working on a huge variety of projects. I look forward to revealing more about what your team has been cooking up, possibly before the end of the year... Stay tuned!

    Additional Add-ons In-Development
As a final note on this section, we have further add-ons progressing well from more partners, but we won't always share news on everything with each Roadmap article if there's no major updates at this stage. Some add-ons from recent roadmaps this includes are:
    • Liberec – Stará Paka from Vector Simulations
    • Lisbon – Setúbal from VirtuaVia360
    • Tadami Line from Union Workshop
    • Class 171 & 377/3 Pack from Rivet Games
    • Expert DB BR 145 from TSG
    • DB BR 420 from TSG
    • HST Farewell Tour from Grump Dog Games
    • GWE Remaster from Grump Dog Games
We're definitely excited to get more information about our new countries, but don't worry - no news doesn't mean progress has stopped, and we'll update you soon when we have more to reveal.
We do have some fun events planned for our final update before the end of the year - so get ready for a joyful season ahead!

    Patches & Updates
Recent Train Sim World 6 Patches
    • TSW6 Core Update - October 10th – The first major update to Train Sim World 6, bringing key improvements to highly reported community issues raised over the launch period, including fixes for the Riviera Line’s missing water textures, braking issues on the Class 220 and tweaks made to train faults.
    • Birmingham Crewe Hotfix - October 28th – A small update hotfix to improve memory issues and crashing on Birmingham Crewe following launch, alongside a few other key issues.
    • TSW6 Core Update - October 28th – Our next major update to Train Sim World 6, with improvements to profile transfers for PS4, announcements, further improvements to train faults and much, much more. This update also added the Fife Circle Sprinter timetable along with improvements for the Scotrail Class 158.
    Upcoming Updates
Currently, our teams are working on the next set of updates for TSW6, with core updates planned to land every couple weeks (twice a month). In our update post a couple weeks back, we had originally planned our next update to land in the first week of November, but we're still working to make sure this is tested correctly and ready for you all before we send it out.
We're looking at the middle of next week, but please be aware these timelines may shift, and we'll keep you informed when we're able to confirm details.
    • TSW6 Core Update #4 (ETA: Week of Nov 10th) - Our next scheduled core update, currently being tested by our teams and aiming to contain further core improvements from feedback following TSW6’s release, and a wider range of improvements for the recently released Birmingham-Crewe route.
Once we can confirm the improvements coming within the patch, we'll look to share the news to you all.

    Epic Games Compatible Content
From TSW6's launch, the Epic Games Store has only supported a curated selection of the most played compatible content available to play. We know this has been frustrating, and we've heard the feedback from our communities.
As of our update earlier this week, we can now confirm all the remaining entitlements have been added and available to install in Train Sim World 6, allowing your to bring your collections across to the latest version of TSW, and enjoy the latest improvements and upcoming remasters for all your owned compatible content.
This final batch includes a further 72 add-ons (following our initial update that featured 17 add-ons), and so we won't list these all on this thread, but please feel free to check out our Epic Games TSW6 Support Page to find out more information, and if you are still experiencing any issues, please let our teams know via our support tickets, our Dovetail Games Forums, or the new Dovetail Games Discord.
We greatly appreciate your time spent waiting whilst we bring back all the entitlements you expect to Epic Games, ensure the compatibility is fully supported.

De-branded Caltrain Compatible Content for PlayStation Users
As a quick note for players on PlayStation who didn't redeem the de-branded Caltrain add-ons and download them in TSW5, we're aware that these entitlements haven't been carrying across to TSW6 as expected.
We've been in contact with PlayStation and been able to implement a special-case workaround to give you all the access needed, and we're aiming to set this live tomorrow, Friday 7th November from 10am UTC, allowing you to download the TSW6 versions!
Be sure to claim these add-ons if you have the related entitlements to get the content in TSW6 and onwards.

Metro Rivals: New York - A New Game from Dovetail Games!
Earlier in October, we have been thrilled to finally announce a brand-new title from Dovetail Games: introducing Metro Rivals: New York!

Metro Rivals is an exciting new train simcade experience. Set in near future New York City, the Metro system has been taken over by fearsome adversaries, who each govern their own patch: The Track Titans. In this world, reputation is everything; strategy is king, and all-out speed can mean all-out disaster.

Here’s a list of the exciting features you can expect when the doors slide open:
    • Story-driven single player – Push yourself to the limits in the story-drive single player mode, facing challenges and taking on the track titans to grow your reputation.
    • Fierce PvP showdowns – Challenge your friends in a fierce head-to-head on-track battle with up to 4 friends in a PvP co-op mode
    • Multiple Game modes – Metro Rivals also offers options for players to set their own paths, hop into their train, and enjoy the sights of the city (and their train!)
    • Make it yours – Customise your underground empire and make your ride truly yours.
    • Unreal Engine 5 – Metro Rivals utilises all the power from Unreal Engine 5, meaning your Metro experience will be more immersive and breathtaking than ever before.
    • Reactional Music – Real time musical interactivity means music is fully native and cinematically integrated in the game, even when swapping tracks.
Sound interesting? Take a look at our announce video:

Metro Rivals is ready for you to Wishlist on Steam, Epic Games, Xbox Series S/X and PS5 platforms!

I was not expecting a Richmond extension update but it's sounding really good! I know it's not confirmed yet but it would be really nice if we can have real announcements on the route. If Johannes can iron out some of the major bugs that are present then his route then it will quickly become one of my favourites. :)

    Interesting roadmap for sure!

Excited for the GP60 pack, Stuttgart route, the Class 90 pack, Richmond extension for Mildmay, and the 805/new Birm-Crewe TT. JT's stuff also looks great.

New studio featuring lots of familiar names from the forums is very cool too.

NY-Stamford seems REALLY early in development- giving TSW7 launch vibes tbh, which i'd be ok with if the wait is for something big- maybe we finally a path to getting to an Amtrak diesel (by way of an MNRR dual-mode P32 AC DM)? Hey, US Freight is back maybe it's ok to dream lol!

Where is GWE remaster i wonder? Sounded close to release months ago and basically nothing since.

The one thing I was really forward to is the GWE remaster. Still no update. Why on earth did you announce it so early?

Not having a go at Liam. He’s doing a great job and I appreciate he’s doing it for free when he could easily sell this as a gameplay pack. Just frustrated at DTG announcing something they know a lot of us will want and giving us very little information.

Would a seperate route be inline with the Avanti Class 805, via Lichfield Trent Valley, Northampton, failing that Crewe to Liverpool Lime Street via Runcorn. Has this would create more route for the stock to be used on?

Shame short section of route between Crewe & Chester wasn't included, albiet same could be stated with regards the Tame Bridge Parkway services.

Is the other stock layers set for Cardiff City route subject to just be under Class 142, or can they be layered in current, has stated on protext for the TfW Class 142.

Why isn't Blackpool branches set up the same if it is the case.

Do you reckon their a bit shy on their 1st release has would have made more sense to start at Birmingham International rather than Birmingham New street, lots of the services are their too, not to mention the upcoming Class 805.

The DB BR110 was also very common in the Stuttgart area back then. They used to haul regional trains to Nuremberg and Wurzburg and were often coupled with n-Wagen. Any plans on more retro Deutsche Bundesbahn coaches eg m-Wagen or the BR420?

    Kind regards

From my point of view a very unexciting roadmap, pretty much as expected.

Still no preview images of the Stuttgart-Heilbronn route. I imagined this to be this year's Christmas Route, but as of now it looks more like a release in 3 months, at the earliest.
Getting a version of the 111 with train faults is nice and can be used on many other routes I hope. As long as the faults work properly, that is.
Also, this sentence gives me a tiny glimmer of hope:
Does that mean the wheel slip indicator on this red 111 is finally working correctly, like it does on the cream/blue 111?

No news on Maiks 420 is sad, but we have waited so long already... we can wait a little longer. Quality does indeed take time after all (something DTG should keep in mind when trying to rush any release date) :)

    Edit:
Almost forgot... best wishes to the Firefly Simulations team! Looks like a lot of competence in one bundle, can't wait to see what you'll cook up :D

Presumably you are aware of the issues some of us are having with the Monthly Mastery (again). Not only has the Tier One mileage not been updating, the rainy scenarios also reset to zero complete. Support seem uninterested, they even closed my ticket with the issue still outstanding,

DTG and TSW are becoming a laughing stock. If I hadn’t spent so much on it, would just uninstall and forget it exists. So you can maybe understand I’m slightly underwhelmed by the other items on the roadmap, no interest in bolting yet more rushed out and poorly tested low quality content onto an increasingly broken core.

DTG burying their head in the sand regarding console build quality I see.

But hey, at least I can buy a train for a route that doesn’t work & the other route which has been borked since day 1 is getting extended. Yay.

Wow!! So far, so good! Two pieces of news particularly impressed me:
To the guys at Train Sim Community, I'm glad you've joined the development team!
I'm thrilled with GP60M/B and High Iron Simulations' plans. I really hope that GP60 classic won't be forgotten and will appear in the future.

I just hope they take their time and do it justice tbh.

Morristown and Boston/Worcester have set the standard for US content going forward- anything like going back to NY-Trenton level of quality is unacceptable in my book.

I'd be overjoyed to get 1 or 2 fantastic first-party US routes per year- i think anything more is stretching the team too thin.

Strange to see no news on a lot of DLCs (some which were 0-3 months in August).

The 2025 timetable for Birmingham to Crewe is nice but doesn't really make sense given the lack of a 730 which now covers most of the WMR / LNR services.

The Richmond extension looks very nice, and it would be even better if the real announcements are added to the route.

Also great to see the modders from Train Sim Community developing things.

    A new timetable for Crewe-Birmingham?

Can the route even take it? It already feels like it's creaking under the pressure.

    They are not ignoring it.
They have stated that its being worked on and in the latest patch released last week they had stated they had made some progress in reducing the blurry textures appearing.

Agreed, I estimate since New York to Stamford is in early development, it is looking like a spring release, or maybe summer 2026. I also think this would be the perfect time to introduce the P32AC-DM and shoreliners since the M8 and P32AC-DM with shoreliners were both released when New York to New Haven released years ago for TS2014 (now TSC). Who knows, maybe we can even get the new charger locomotives

Where's the information we all want? The info about how you're going to make the game playable for console users.
All is see there is some lovely looking content I won't be buying because it won't work on my PS5.

I would be interested to hear what is in the forthcoming core improvement patches but it’s all very well hearing about these lovely DLCs, particularly Preston - Crewe (if JT’s earlier releases are anything to go by) but if they are going to be affected by existing issues, then there’s no point in buying them. I still haven’t bought Birmingham - Crewe, despite wanting it because I can’t guarantee I will be able to play it on my Xbox Series X to an acceptable standard.

Too early for me to get excited about the US loco packs. After all the Santa Fe pack was announced a year and a half ago. So I would expect the GP60 to appear round about Spring 2027.

I want to support High Iron, but it seems a bit too much too fast on Cajon Pass for them. They could have just included the GP60s’ in the previous pack or waited and done something different. It’s just too much of essentially the same thing on the same route, which itself is kinda….meh. Cajon Pass was not even the most popular US route, let alone TSW route. Too many eggs in that basket.

All three locos (GP60, SD 40-2, and C40-8W) could go well on the other US freight routes already in the game, but instead of substitutions or layers they’re going for whole new timetables which…. is weird and more work.

Preston-Crewe looks very nice. Definitely looking forward to that.

Cargo Line 5 is a smaller add on, but unique, esp the redone Class 20.

    The Class 90… eh… we’ll see.

The Mildmay line extension is interesting, but not my most played anyway. Good luck to the guy who made the route all alone and wants to now extend it.
