They’ll have to stop support at some point. PS4 Playerbase is shrinking. Apparently only 30% of active PlayStation accounts are on PS4. And that’s expected as most of us have now moved on to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. To be fair though last gen has done really well. I’m guessing 2-3 more years tops and last gen will be no more.
Do they even support 9th gen? Obviously I am exaggerating slightly, the game is mostly ok on Series X. But you do have to manage your content quite carefully on a lot of routes if you don't want to run into issues with stuttering and blurring, which is not ideal at all.
Well ideally, they would make it work on console in the way that other games work. Also, I think console is a big source of income for them, that they are not going to just get rid of.
Well you guys should consider yourself lucky. I'm still waiting for my PC to get to the TSW Loading screen. DTG the performance is dreadful
It’s a slippery slope as if Gen 8 goes, what’s next - a big jump in the minimum PC spec? At that point I think they would really need to draw a line under TSW and start a fresh game. You can only keep moving the goalposts so far, on a game which was introduced when what is now regarded at potato hardware was still considered quite potent.
When 9th gen struggles I think it's time to drop 8th gen. My 4080 struggles in places and it's 3 times more powerful than the GPU in the ps5! I'm surprised 8th gen has made it this far.
they need to stop making tsw's every year and learn how to fix there game and issues but i might go back to tsw 2 soon tho
