I've been thinking my xbox PC TSW6 has been looking a little blurry vs other games on my 2560x1600 monitor. As a result today i downloaded the free starter pack on steam and it looks much sharper! When i looked into settings I saw under the screen menu the steam version was set to "fullscreen" and had two other options "windowed" and "windowed fullscreen". Then when i went to the xbox PC install it did not have the "fullscreen" mode steam was set to that looked sharper, and only had the two windowed options. After seeing this I played around with the windows OS settings and set the "scale" to 100% and loaded the game and it looked as sharp as the steam version so problem fixed. Sort of - now all my windows desktop icons are small meaning I will have to switch between 150% and 100% scale on the screen OS settings each time i load TSW. Can any other xbox PC players confirm if they also have only the "windowed" and "windowed fullscreen" options in the screen settings menu (and can't pick the 3rd option "full screen"). If others and the xbox PC build can make this work I might try uninstalling everything and starting again... Thanks
Advanced settings > Screen percentage will let you "sharpen" the screen. I only have the two windowed options.
Thanks have already set that to 200% but sadly still looks better on the steam version I figure out I can get it properly fixed by modding with god mode and setting soemthing on the ini file but this shouldn’t be required ideally
Yeah, only the two windowed options here. I play on my LG CX 55" and control the PC from my couch with wireless mouse, keyboard and controller so I have to set the OS setting from 300% to 100% any time I want to play.
There is no good reason to use exclusive fullscreen mode anymore, as the performance gains that you used to get from it don't apply anymore. As others have said, the issue you have is entirely down to the screen percentage settings... Not that it fixes the awful anti-aliasing in the game.
