I dont look who to look for help anymore. Please I beg of someone being able to assist my scenario.
I shall put down the list of trains that are in this scenario here, 2 Issues.

    1. As the player train is suppose to be at Milton Keynes between 07:36:00 - 07:43:00. Between that train there are supposed to be 2 Class 390 supposed to be passing by Milton Keynes. 9G04 first at 07:38:00 and 1H04 at 07:41:00. After many fixes to the point where both trains are able to leave Euston on time. Somehow, it still wasn't able to pass Milton Keynes no matter what I try. They are at the highest priority (Express Passenger) they are supposed to be set at. But I cant in the life of me figure out why they have delays (when irl that timing is achievable).

    2. At Rugby there is 1R16 and at Coventry there is 1R17. Below the image is where 1R16 is starting (there is a lot of trains that uses trent valley so i had to use this line and squeeze in a lot of trains)
    Screenshot 2025-11-05 095142.png
But basically when it does start, it was just forever stuck at the next signal (and or before Rugby platform 4). 1R17 was able to move to Rugby platform 5 but then it just can't leave. There is a 5W18 from the Northampton portal to Rugby Platform 6. 5W18 it was set as "Empty Stock" and 1R17 is "Express Passenger" so how is it that one with higher priority just stuck at the platform behind a red??
I even had to avert 5W18's platform from 5 to 6 just because TSC was throwing a fit that it cant recreate how 5W18 is suppose to come AFTER 1R17 would stop and go at platform 5. But even not doing that the dispatcher is not doing its job.

I have stayed up, so much nights because of issues that I should've been able to fix many weeks ago. But I cant in the life figure out how. If someone can willing to help. I can send over the scenario files in dms. Its nearly done and its just these issue that is preventing me from finish the first part of a muti part scenario. (And the May 2025 timetable is nearly done and RTT dont let you view them by next year... unless you pay a fortune, hence why I am in such a rush).

    A couple of questions
Where is the Player train running between?
Start and Finish locations on this route, the pretend locations outside the route are not important.

5W18 at Rugby - try routing it over the Up Northampton from to P5 - it is crossing the route of 1R17
Or start the 5W18 later in th Daventry area

I think you are trying to have too many trains in the same direction

Start location is Euston, End location is Rugby platform 2.
currently 5W18 is by the Northampton end at Rugby. Where is Daventry?

yea, so much so now trains can move with their doors open... taken just now.
its 2k05 again. Most recent big change I did was just add one more minute before the scenario starts from 06:53 to 06:52 as the start time...

You keep asking questions without answering any.

You say the player train is Euston to Rugby and it is in MKC from 07.36 - 07.43 but the 2K05 terminates at MKC and returns to Euston.
So what train are you ACTUALLY Driving?
If you are driving 2K06 back to Euston why are you bothered about trains at Rugby when you won't see them?

And you seem to be filling the railway with every train in both directions without looking at it.

the player train just isnt in the game at all. Its a train that doesnt exist in real life. Its really a hypothetical scenario that takes place in a real timetable.

which is what I have been doing because i am really unsure can my train pass certain stations on time. I had to account for delays too. So I just made sure that the opposite traffic would arrive at specific stations on time so they would show up on time.
idk have i mentioned this before but this is my first time making any scenario. 1 out 4 supposedly...

So no player train and you are putting AI trains all over the place.

With a Scenario you drive a train from A to B and en route you see other trains passing.
Normally those trains only run a short distance - once you have passed them they are out of site so they get removed.

You seem to want to run almost every train for its full length back and forth.
    No wonder you have problems

Ludwigtails - you need to be a little clearer in your description so that people can help you.

Is this a 'railfan' style scenario in which there is NO player train at all? OR is it a scenario in which you are driving a train ? (in which case, which train?)

If it is a railfan style of scenario then you may find it less stressful to just run your AI trains past your viewing point and then disappear into portals.
If it is a driveable scenario with a real-world timetable then you are taking on a big (but achievable-ish) challenge. As a first-time scenario creator I would strongly recommend that you do a simplified version first (put in maybe half of the real world trains with big gaps between services). Get that working, learning as you go. Then gradually introduce more complexity.

The AI scheduler has its foibles and most routes need some additional help (extra stopping points, hidden signals, invisible blocking locos etc) to get complex scenarios working well. Start small and work your way up...good luck - it can be very rewarding - also bloody annoying ;-)

it is a drivable scenario that takes place in real world timetable. i tell that on the TSC discord server and even they say that having the entire WCML as my first scenario is too much. So what I now done for the sake of my own insanity is what you have suggested. Cut down some a.i services and pray that everything works now. Leaving space for future if i ever return to making a full timetable.

If it is a Driveable Scenario it must have a start location and an end location but you don't tell us the locations
If we knew we could help more.

i dont understand how detailed is it needed to be. Do you meant by Euston Platform 16 to Rugby Platform 2??

Yes - that is enough detail.

Are you stopping in MKC for a couple of Northbound trains to overtake? - If so remove them at the next portal after Wolverton.
The 2K06 can be removed after you have passed it going north - you don't see it again so remove it from the scenario.

The 2M09 at Watford Jn - where should it be when you pass it?
If you have passed it before Watford Jn then let it arrive in P8 and depart North to a portal.
If it is supposed to be at Watford before you arrive then just place a train in P10

If you are overtaking any train it does not matter what that train does after you have passed it as you don't see it again.

Yes, which are as mentioned before, 9G04 and 1H04. And they still couldnt pass on time.

As for 2M09. I managed to fix it now.

When you time these train are you setting the timings to 100% or another figure?
And why does 9G04 and 1H04 not pass on time?

that is the thing, i cant in the life of me figure out why. Their pathing out of Euston should've been cleared for the 2 of them. There no other train other than the player train that goes on to the fast line beyond Wembley (a lot of a.i trains out of Euston ends at the Kensal portal). And these trains end at the portal just outside of Rugby South Junction.

i even did a drive test with the 2 trains. Did the runs bit with some mistakes.
    did 9G04 first
    20251113215851_1.jpg
even with some mistakes, i was still able to pass by the stations as per the irl timings according to RTT, including when passing milton Keynes. On time somewhat.

However with 1H04, since it was behind 9G04 (it was used as a.i during my test run). In both runs I was easily able to catch up with 9G04. Which the closes I ever got to it when driving 1H04 it was ever only driving at 90mph for some reason. Not that i can adjust the speed if i direct it towards the portal right after it leaves Euston.

    1st run with 1H04

    20251113225251_1.jpg

    2nd run with 1H04
    20251113233617_1.jpg

    20251113234438_1.jpg

both runs pass by Milton Keynes 8 minutes late with mistakes. Stucked behind 9G04 a lot.

Give your 1Z69 a slower category than the Pendolinos - Stopping Passenger maybe?
You don't need to run CS 3M11 as you will be gone from the area before it moves

In the timings click on a stopping point check the % to see if it is 75% (default) try increasing it on the Pendolinos so they run faster.

did you mean by this instead of using a final destination? i should use stop at instruction to just have them end at a station instead of a portal? Because final destination doesnt allow you to change speeds at all. Only stop at instruction allows that.
both trains dont have any intermediate stops as a a.i service. Hence why there is no stops. If i were to add a stop at instruction in the middle of the run it will just interrupt the player train considering the 2 trains should've been intront of the player train pass milton keynes.

okay good news. did that method, i haven't check 9G04's progress when doing the run but when running 1H04 and have 9G04 end at Coventry instead. I manage to get a on time run with 1H04 too.

    apparently i just learnt that.
final destination are for player trains while stop at instruction are for (both players and) a.i trains...
