Do you know if they have sorted the lights out on the other locos so you can see at night.

Just had to delete a train on 2E31 stuck at a red signal at Exeter St Davids causing a tailback.

Not checked as yet. Abandoning that run anyway as I don't think I want to drive all the way to Exeter with those sounds!

The sea appears to be fixed now on Series X. Honestly just appreciating what a smooth and enjoyable experience this route is, with not a blurry texture in sight.

I didn't ride the Class 150 specifically but having rode several trains fitted with brake shoes, I think the brake rubbing sound is now too loud and doesn't sound natural. I have a simulator example starting at 2m05 of smooth and more realistic brake sound :

Should also illustrate another soundpack with perhaps better engine sounds ?

Otherwise I must salute the efforts being put in the Class 150 coming with this route, it is miles better than the West Cornwall Local one !

Yes the brake rub and other ancillary sounds are fine. It’s just the engine/transmission they can’t get right, no matter how many passes Rivet and DTG have at it. Guess we are going to accept, unless they alias the very good 153 sound set, this is probably their last attempt and we’re stuck with it. Even allowing for being in the cab, you should still get that harsh rasping roar as the engine throttles up but the latest attempt is way too muffled and subdued. In fact, almost feels like we are back full circle to the original WCL traction sounds. Sounds more like a bus than a train.

    Are the faulty faults fixed?
Or can you at least successfully turn them off?
If so, I think I'm ready to buy!

The 150261 bug still hasn't been sorted yet.

Just checked and it's still there, on PS5 anyway b834d4fd-beef-431c-897a-a274ace8e590.jpeg

I think you might be as passionate about incorrect sounds as I am about the immersion breaking poor track laying. 80mph sharp curves with no cant/superelevation at all anyone? It's so annoying these things keep happening and the makers of the routes can get it so right some of the time and then make a bit of a hash of it during other times.

I see ! I also would prefer more "agressive" engine sound as all DMU make, especially the older ones.

That perfectly describes how the first gen Cummins engine Sprinter DMU's should sound. Even going back to the first time I heard a 150/1 at Derby in the mid 80's it sounded totally different to any of the heritage DMU's to that point. It's that which is completely missing from the replica in TSW.

I have to ask, after the latest update, what exactly has improved the sound on the class 150? It still pops just as much. I don't notice any difference. I play on ps5 pro.
