I feel like there should be an option to have them loaded or not in the consist editor, currently they spawn empty, i would like to have SD40s leading a TOFC train, and if possible we could have a loaded 89 flat with trailers on them that we can edit and color.
They were gonna have an option to spawn them loaded but they forgot to add it and it’s been years now at this point so I don’t think they’ll ever add it into the game now.
While I do agree that they should give some thought to this, I honestly think they should bring back loaded cars to the formation designer. I missed that. But knowing DTG at this point, they won't do it. (They probably expect us to load them ourselves, even in free roam. :/) In the meantime, one user has posted several loaded freight cars on the creators club.
