My point is this: some cities may not post exact timetables because of reasons. I know one line just has a PDF and you gotta hope those times are right. (Long Island)

My local line you just know to be there before the "arrival time" by 30 minutes because otherwise you are not getting on that train.

The NY subway, is not going to arrive or depart at the exact times it says, even the online updates aren't accurate. They tell you its like 75% accurate, but they aren't necessarily published up to the time online.

On that line that you posted, my friend actually uses it to get to work sometimes, those times aren't exactly accurate, they are close as it uses GPS and that's the "arrival" time, but you arrive early and expect to wait because there's usually a little delay.

In the US, most folks expect it to be a close timetable, but not exact. Some places are also able to dedicate more time and resources for accuracy, but some will publish a slightly delayed timetable unless you have a ticket and login where you can be directed to your exact train.

You just learn after your first missed bus or train what the general timeline really is.

My point wasn't about the individual lines, but why some current timetables may not be added to a game.

Let's think for a moment: Why wouldn't they add a current, static timetable to a game where you can run through a train route for some cities over and over again?

That is what my original thought was. I also stated I was possibly wrong, and I may be overthinking in that exact post.

Unfortunately you aren't going to be able to please everyone on the forum.

I understand the context of your post and what you were trying to get across with the 'T' reason, in regards to timetables. As the British Transport Police announcement would say "If you see something suspicious, you can tell a member of staff or the British Transport Police. Text the BTP on 61016. See it. Say it. Sorted!"

Just for the record, DTG has many ongoing faults, but I've found you to be incredibly receptive, helpful and communitative member of online staff and it is much appreciated from my end! I know you have thick skin and can probably handle the criticism, but I always think it's worth letting people know they are appreciated.

Anyway I shall stop ranting and raving!

I mean, another obvious example of why a route developer might want to look into whether or not a current timetable is appropriate would be the updated Fife timetable. Picking the current one when that was in development would have been a big oopsie, due to many services being cancelled due to industrial action...

A lot of the time, there are good reasons for looking into historical timetables where you may be able to fit popular older rolling stock in alongside contemporary ones.

Don't know why I'm just now seeing this but thank you, I do appreciate it.

Oh, that's a pretty good point. I was just reading an article about the Fife Line and some recent adjustments to the schedule (I suddenly see a lot of train news, I WONDER WHY).
Just a note for those IRL affected, there are some cancellations and re-routes coming up in January: https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/25572620.edinburgh-fife-rail-route-set-nine-days-disruption/

NJ and NYC LIRR almost shut down due to employee strikes in September, so it's definitely something we see here. Luckily, they resolved it quickly.

I’d like to see Cajon Pass also include sometime the BNSF AC4400CW. It would also be cool to see more rail action, of course the Santa Fe add on has a lot of action just more yard action and hard work would be nice. It would also be cool to see more forgein power operated on lines like maybe a CSX GP38-2 on the Oakville or Cajon line.

An AC4400, yes. A GP38? Used for shunting and local freight, they wouldn't be hauling cross-country trains so as to get stranded in California.

But still it would be cool, they can make a rare level chart where something like a MBTA unit is the rarest special power but a CSX ES44AH is line uncommon or something.

As long as it's handled reasonably. At one point this got absolutely ridiculous, I remember Sand Patch being overwhelmed with UP locos.

Somewhat delayed, but the error in your snap is a lack of space on your internal drive:

    CE-100028-1
There is not enough free space on the SSD.

Make sure that you have the required free space:
Check if there is enough space to download:

    • Settings > Storage > System Storage.
How to delete from System Storage:

    • Highlight the data you want to delete and press the select button. Select Delete to delete the content.
How to delete on home screen:

    • Highlight the content you want to delete and press options button. Select Delete to delete the content.
    https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/support/error-codes/ps5/ce-100028-1/

A minimum of 5GB is required at all times on the internal drive, any less than that and you'll start getting errors like this

Then its likely your internal SSD is on its way out. If a game tells the PS5 it wants to write to disk (this is the autosave of player info that happens periodically with train usage info and the like, not the actual save game) and the disk write fails would be the other cause of this message. Perhaps worth resetting your PS5 to factory defaults so that it wipes the disk and records bad sectors so they aren't used again (if PS5 does that, I'm not sure)

Or. It's a game issue. If your SSD was failing, it'd fail on more than just 1 game (which is known to be very buggy)

If you Google it, you'll see that this error does happen with more than one game and with seemingly plenty of space available.

FredElliott's quote above comes directly from PlayStation. Their suggestions would be the place to start for fixing the problem.

    Which I have done.

I really don't get why some are so defensive of a game dev.

I literally have ZERO (read that again, ZERO) save issues on other games.

Every instance of this error is linked to a game bug.

For example. Palworld had the issue, same code. The devs ACKNOWLEDGED it was something with the game, not the ssd.

As for the playstation support pages. They recommend the same thing for almost every error code.

Game crashing? Do all the above.
Won't connect to PSN? Do all the above.
Corrupted save (which this likely is)? Do all the above.

The fact multiple players are having the same issue suggests it's not hardware that's causing it.

It's not being defensive of a game dev; it's checking the obvious ("Is the printer that's not working powered on?") in the absence of any indication that's already been done.

I do know that TSW can trip system errors. I had no idea that the PS4 even had a blue screen of death until TSW2 triggered it when being brought out of sleep mode, twice out of twice. I never let it sleep again when TSW was active.

But since people have gotten this error from numerous other games (high Google results include Midnight Suns, Hogwarts Legacy, Dead Rising 4, Assetto Corsa, and more), and most people here haven't said anything about seeing it, it's hard to be definitive about the cause.
