I read a lot of people saying the horn sound on ECW was much worse than BML. I think it's 10x better. Am I missing something here?

The BML 377 is a massive improvement with authentic AP Electrostar sounds, and a massively improved and authentic PIS system. The ECW 377 is probably the least authentic of the two...

I definitley think all other sounds are better on the BML one but the horn is definitley better on ECW

I can’t understand why they didn’t go back and update the sounds on ECW. It’s the reason I don’t ever drive the route

Gotta drag it out so they can then charge use for a new version.

They wouldn’t do that. If they remastered it it would be free of charge like the others, and if Rivet wanted to update it with the new 171 pack then fair play, I don’t have an issue with that.

Buddy. I’ve been playing since 2018 - when have they ever charged for updated sounds?

They technically charged for the Cathcart Circle Remaster as you had to buy the 380 to avail of it.

Probably because it's an old dlc.

Rapid transit for example also didn't get updated sounds for the talent 2 because it was so old they couldn't just copy and paste it and would have needed a rebuild

It wasn’t that old when BML was released. But I don’t know if the preservation crew existed at that point
