PC Maine, Steep Falls Abandoned Railroad

Hi everyone, I thought I’d share some pictures from an old railroad by my house. This is located in Steep Falls, Maine. It’s an abandoned railway that used to run passenger and freight services.

 

.....Sad, I think! That railway was important!!

Too bad a certain rail company had to close a lot of lines due to.. "Bad management." Reason why commuter rail still hasn't gotten popular in the northeast
