Has it even released? Can't find it on the Xbox store and there's been no announcement about it being out now!
Class 142 -TPWS interface doesn’t illuminate during the self test sequence -Door closing animation is slightly out of sync with the slam sound -Driver - guard buzzer isn’t as loud & clear as the guard - driver buzzer audio Class 153 -Doubled units seem to share the same train numbers e.g 153 367 coupled to a duplicate 153 367
Infamous blurry textures are back… -Between Waun-gron Park & Radyr getting close to the train body or staying in the cab for long periods of time then using an external camera causes the textures the downgrade
Sitting in canton depot with a 142 for the 1326 into Cardiff central and surrounded by blurry textures on all other 142s sadly. I was optimistic that this dlc could be unaffected given the original route seemed to be free of them. On PS5
I am not giving DTG another cent until the textures are sorted out on consoles. Absolutely unacceptable that this is still an issue . SORT IT OUT!!!!!!
Local door operation is all wrong. Only one leaf should open when local door is opened. Also, shouldn’t close with the doors close button.
Well, as I suspected, the reason no console footage was allowed before release is because of the blurry textures. People. Us console players HAVE to stop buying content until they actually fix the issue. DTG are entirely financially motivated, what motivation do they have if they can release N64 textures and we'll still pay? (I'm not blaming JT, the blurry textures is a DTG issue, they won't fix)
The blurry textures seem to come in on the longer runs after coming through Cardiff Central in either direction. They do recover quickly at least on PS5 Pro, unlike the new Birmingham route. On the shorter runs it‘s fine. - For the record I never had an issue on the original timetable. I do agree that this issue needs to be fixed sooner than later. Otherwise there is no future for TSW on console really as we will be left behind with reduced timetables.
A second thing I have a suspicion on here is that the substitution appears to be borked. I ran a whole bunch of services with the 142 and everything else drivable on the route was a 142. I kinda assumed that the 150 and 153 must just be ECS moves but, according to the timetable, they aren’t, they follow the same diagrams! pS5 again, for reference and also, as an update, I haven’t seen a single place where my textures actually look anything other than blobs!
Can someone run job 3E00 depot run in the 153. And see if can past the red signal just outside the depot. Thanks
Also on service 2P05 where you are instructed to uncouple 2 pacer sets at Cardiff Central im unable to uncouple the units
So go the other end of the set you are currently in or go to the other set ? Also there is no need to activate the master key on the uncouple desk ?
It is incredibly disappointing to hear there are issues of blurry textures yet again with this release. I was looking forward to this DLC for quite a while, I enjoyed driving the Pacer on Blackpool Branches and WCML-Shap, and it was a large factor in my decision to purchase Cardiff City Network in the first place. I acknowledge I am just a singular voice and I don't post much here, but having spent over $700 CAD on TSW DLC over the past few years, I can confidently say I will not be spending a further dime on this or future releases, until the blurry texture problem has been fully resolved.
Platform: PS5 Journey Mode Chapter: Donkey Wrong Broken Service: 3E00 Cardiff Canton to Cardiff Central I am also having trouble with the red signal on 3E00. I have tried deleting various nearby trains and the signal never clears. I’m still troubleshooting, so hopefully one of us comes up with a workaround! EDIT: I’ve tried all the workarounds I could think of, and the signal never clears. So we have another journey mode chapter broken on launch day. Incredibly disappointing!
Same as Blackpool press local open to trigger the close button. Agreed with that only one leaf should open when local door is opened.
Doors on AI trains close after it departs. Seems to be all rolling stock on route this issue happens with.
I only did a couple of quick runs as I've been dozing off after a hard & long day at work, didn't notice anything particularly out of place with the 142, the only thing that did stick out was that on the three runs I did all of the AI trains were 142s, no Sprinters, 37 or modern LOVE either. I did load the 150 for a short ECS into Canton and that ran fine and there was a Hitatchi thing pulling out of the next platform so I need to do a quick check and see if the issue only happens when the player is in a 142 of their own.
I have had one run so far, very enjoyable. However all the moving AI traffic were class 142's, apart from a 170 in Cardiff Central, I assume this isn't intended. There was a 150 and a 37 and mark 2's in Canton depot.
No didn't see one. I thought 153's worked the Cardiff Bay shuttle, certainly the one time I travelled on it around 2016 it was a 153 but maybe that was a one off.
So do the 142, 150 and 153 all share the one timetable. Each loco is showing the same job amount completed.
Just to ask a couple questions: - Are the blurred textures happening on a specific scenario? - Has anyone seen any 150s/153s appearing?
