    How about doing this route in the 1960 era the reason I say that is because if they do make steam engines they can be used on this route,also diesels can be used as we have class 33,37,47,52,08,and 40 and they may be making more also we have coaches and some wagons.
    I would like to see it extended to Eastleigh as a base and as I live in sussex I have seen class 08,09,33,37,47,45,56 and 73 over the years.

    No thanks... I'm way more than satisfied with the BR era we have as it is now. Maybe some late 90's setting - post privatisation, but then, only on the paper really. Still lots of NSE stuff driving around, but also the first glimpses of the new age to come.
