Here's a Morristown Service I found today, might be one of my favorites so far. 6431, NY Penn Station - Gladstone in the ALP-46. Plenty of traffic on the NEC Between New York Penn and the interchange (granted, you have all the layers). if you time it just right, you can race an Arrow III down the line section right after jumping onto the Morristown Line, although the Arrow III gets a red light before the draw bridge. you run a semi-express service to Summit, but the traffic does quiet down a bit on the Morristown Line. Spoiler There's a hard red before Portal Bridge, in which you'll sit at quite a bit while you get taken over a couple times
Dresden Leipzig TEE Dresden Hbf to Köln at 09:58 with the DB 103. Rattling the 103 up to 200 kph is a blast! Also, handling the 103 on the gently changing grades is challenging with the slow acceleration and slow wind down of the transformer. You can use the transformer switch on your left to boost the power a bit, but leaving it on too long with blow the transformer. I also loved the satisfying clunk of the MCB as I flipped it off for the neutral section. There is a little PZB action at the start and a routing that surprised me a bit. I encountered some LZB action at the end, but I was running about 4 minutes early.

I can't get this one to actually run. If I try it through the menu I end up despoited at a random station. If I hang around Wilmslow at the appropriate time, no train. Odd.

Yeah I have been getting that bug on MAC but if you use fast travel to Wilmslow you can take it over from AI. It's frustrating an old bug from previous routes has come back.
If I remember right that bug is caused by the player being spawned at the same time the service starts instead of a few minutes before. At least that's what I remember Matt saying in a live stream ages ago. Still annoying that it's happening on the 6th literation of the game though!
Rivieira Line: Class 66 6L12 from Riverside Yard to Burngullow. A rare start at Riverside Yard, with yellow signals along the sea wall, and really good AI traffic. Play it in May - and don't forget to set the junction at the beginning!
My all time favorite NA Freight Run: L-SBDHES3-04c Hesperia to Barstow at 11:19 on the original Cajon Pass timetable with the BNSF SD40-2 All the action is at the start on the way to Victorville. Lots of flashing yellows, single yellows, and SPAD potential. I don't know if it affects the run, but I do have the Santa Fe F7. Potentially a GOAT - for NA freight.
I started this, but then I was reminded about the still-unfixed 66 bug with the needles of the brake reservoirs being the wrong way around. I can't deal with how pathetic some of these long-standing bugs are.
Had a really good run from Carlisle to Preston - 1M34 14:33 GLC-EUS, set to 5th December with some light clouds and Snow and just a hint of fog for the distant hills. The lighting was stunning and a nice non stop working straight down to Preston.
South Eastern High Speed. Train: Class 700. Service: 9P27 Luton to Rainham. Ran this in November - superb passing traffic from start to finish (the more layers the better, of course).

Spoiler If you're a couple of minutes late coming out of Northfleet the dispatcher will allow the 1F32 Javelin service ahead of you into Gravesend causing you a lot of adverse signals and an 8-10 minute delay you can't recover from.
SB 319 was excellent! Thank you. The signal aspect variety was impressive and had me scrambling to the cheat sheet. I am just now discovering the San Bernadino line and really enjoying it, especially with the F59PHR - such a beast for the high speed sections of the line.
Route: Birmingham Cross City (XC170 timetable) Service: 2G89 (Redditch - Birmingham New St, 20:30) A rather short but nonetheless interesting evening run on BCC. You need the XC170 TT for this. The fun starts at Barnt Green, where you get held for a couple of minutes to let a very slow and heavy double headed freight train originating from the Bromsgrove branch ahead of you, only for the dispatcher to let it into the loop at Longbridge where you overtake it (which in real life would be a pretty good way for the dispatcher to get the sack, as the 323 would have easily been clear of the junction before the freight train even arrives…). All this leads to a delay of approximately 7 min and you’ll struggle to make up time on the way to New St. If you have good route knowledge and are experienced on the 323 and its braking curves, you’ll maybe come close. Impressive AI on the way, lovely night light scene at Kings Norton Depot and Selly Oak/University, also an unusual stoping point at New St (due to the train being taken out of service). As a bonus if you have WCML Brum - Crewe you can route-hop and drive the consecutive empty stock move (5G89) to Soho depot with a headshunt.
Interesting run. When I tried it the delay was a combination of having to wait for the southbound Redditch service to arrive and the heavy freight. Managed to get a 9 minute delay down to 6 minutes by Birmingham. I identified the freight as 6M60 at 20.36 which is playable but as I could only get to 10mph going up the incline 2G89 was long gone from Barnt Green by the time I got there so there was no interaction, so part of the issue is simugraph not being simulated on the AI trains.
1S47 (10:29) London Euston to Glasgow Central - WCMLOS. With cargo Line Volume 4 layer you catch up with an MoD train at Shap Summit and chase it all the way to Carlisle.
WCML Preston-Carlisle 1P63 London Euston to Carlisle Class 87 If you have a lot of UK layers installed, this one is a real treat. Play it in autumn for a beautiful sunset run. Edit: please use the most comprehensive timetable installed, i.e. nuclear if possible. Spoiler: why it is special You will come across a lot of interesting AI, including Cargo Line Nuclear and Military as well as cement and oil freight.
2J58 1803 Blackpool North - Manchester Victoria (Blackpool Branches & Class 31) Presumably a loco covering for a failed DMU, it's great fun to give the beans on this very short train... my Lords! (For the weather, I chose 20th May 1986)

After that is fairly routine, but I couldn't make up the time and was about 6 minutes late into Leipzig. Run it in early December for a nice sunset.

For this thread, run it in early December for a nice sunset. If you want some interesting weather transitions as well, run it Winzarten's app on Dec 11, 2018. I used 8X transition speed, but slowly it down a bit might make it more interesting.
Nice run with the adverse signals mentioned and the coupling at the end. A shame in this instance there isn't a matching service on Fulda-Frankfurt, but there is on Frankfurt S-Bahn (at least in the base timetables) as I would've liked to have carried more of it on. The Dresden-Wiesbaden ICE services if you have all three DLC can be a pretty epic 3 hours of driving.
A brilliant complex gameplay on Stuttgart - Heilbronn, spread over eight services and involving three different drivers. NZ 1999 Hamburg-Altona - Stuttgart Hbf First shift starts at 7:44, playable from BR110. Second shift starts at 8:04, playable from BR363 (and subs like 294). Third shift starts at 8:47, playable from BR363 (and subs like 294). It's worth to stay in the loco between separate parts and watch what the other involved drivers are doing. I assume the evening NZ 1998 covers the same in opposite direction. Spoiler The sleeper train comes with car transport wagons, but twist is that they are ordered in the front of the train. So the 110 has to step down in Kornwestheim and wait in the sidings, while the station's shunter comes to pick up the cars, moves them over to unloading ramp, and after the cars are unloaded, parks the transport wagon to sidings. In the meantime, 110 recouples to the train and continues with passengers to Stuttgart. There, one of the Stuttgart's shunters comes to pick up the consist and ferries it to the sidings for cleaning. Finally, this unlocks the 110 from being locked to the dead-end track and it can move to a parking slot ahead of the platforms.
