25.11.2025 Here is first version of Cesium for Train Sim World Editor: https://www.trainsim.cz/?mod=article&showid=2858 To install, just extract the zip file into root of the editor folder (not inside the TS2Prototype folder) - basically into the folder where is those .bat files (RunPublicEditor.bat, ...). Run the install.exe, it will extract the files and add important lines into config files. Later i will release just patcher which will update those config files after each editor update. Enjoy As i was using Cesium under unofficial TSW editor then my task was easy -> port that Cesium into the TSW 6 editor. Took me some time, tons of crashing, changing the code, but im finally close. It still crash sometime with no reason but its already working version. Once i will finish the stable version i will share that nice plugin, its very usefull for route builders. Here is just screen from TSW 6 editor and working Cesium plugin.
Cool! What does it do specifically? Is it some automation tool or what? Personally, I have been thinking of starting a very difficult project of creating an AI-automated systems for transforming a well recorded video of a train or terrain into a 3D modeled graphical representation for UE4.
Ok so finally its done, ported Cesium plugin for TSW 6 editor v1.0 You can download it here: https://www.trainsim.cz/?mod=article&showid=2858
I've installed the addon and got the following error message. The editor closed when I click ok Screenshot 2025-11-25 094045 by cjenn30 posted Nov 25, 2025 at 9:45 AM Any ideas on how to fix this?
error "Plugin 'Cesiu ForUnreal' Failed to load because module 'CesiumRuntime' could not to be loaded. There may be an operating system error module may not be properly set up" Which version of Cesium should I download from GitHub?
That error message was after installing the cesium from my page ? If not than i can say that Cesium from github will not work. If that was from my page then i will have to look what is wrong with installer because when i test it on my editor it worked fine.
Its strange because i just did fresh reinstall of editor and install that plugin from that installer and its all working. It got already couple of downloads and nobody report anything like that. So wonder if anybody got the same problem ?
I also tried reinstalling the editor and reinstalling Cesium from your website, but the error returned when I launched the editor. I'll wait for a solution.
Ok so my bad, i forgot to include one more file, so i fix the install and data.pkg file, now it should work like it suppose to. You can download fixed version here: https://www.trainsim.cz/?mod=article&showid=2858
Now the editor with Cesium is working! Thank you very much! Some errors still persist when launching the editor itself. There are also crashes when opening a custom route and Cesium.
There will be always some errors as everybody got different stuff in editor, but so far its stable, not crashing, tried my best to make it stable for the first release. I know that there is some crash when you close the editor, i will fix that but im looking to add there some more features too.
I forgot to add one more required file into the install pkg file, please redownload the fixed version.
I want to thank you for adding this tool to what we can do with the PC Editor. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to generate any assets, at least not where I could see them. This is possibly down to a geo-referencing or camera error (I've never used Cesium) but before I could troubleshoot this, I tired to delete some of the Cesium assets I had created, resulting in a crash, and now I get a crash every 3 minutes or so regardless of what I try to do with Cesium, so for now I'll have to disable the plugin in my editor. For buildings, I'll go back to using BlOSM plugin for Blender, which will at least produce groups of dummy buildings (which was my main use-case for Cesium) that I can further develop, then (ugh) manually place when I export them.
Did you setup geo references in CesiumGeoreference ?? Without that Cesium dont know what to generate. And you need to have account on Cesium page, get the API key there and use it in your Cesium.
Thanks for the suggestions! I may not have set up my Cesium account correctly. I did have a Georefence, but it is possible that my sea level correction was way off. I'm not going to chase down the issue since I have an alternative for what I needed Cesium to do, but those are some things that anyone else not seeing anything generate might want to check.
