    They get me every time.

Yes I am a sucker, but I still get that sense of anticipation when I know a patch is on the way, thinking maybe this is the day they turn it all around.

And then the deflation when you read and realise that nothing has changed and that 99.99% of the bugs will still be there and probably always will.

I’m personally happy all those updates are coming to the Class 350 on Birmingham to Crewe, about time.

Well yeah, but that is basically the state it should have released in and we still do not know if it will be playable on console now.

But the fact they then try and blag a 'core update' by tacking on three tiny items to try and make it look better with all the Birmingham/Crewe stuff below, is laughable.

If we ignore every bug prior to 6 .. its still laughable.

Numerous day1 bugs on all 3 'core routes'
Well reported - Acknowledged - Noted
(Trains spawning on tracks with no power, broken services, stuck trains ect ect)
Any mention of them in the notes 3 months later?
Yes B2C is broken and should be a priority
But just like every other DLC before.. it seems the 3 core routes have just been forgotten about alredy!

Now add in the last 5 generations of bugs!
The bugs the last update brought !
The bugs tomorrows update will bring!
Then the eventual 'new' DLC that will launch broke and will become the priority again..

Nothing will ever be fixed will it!
Just outright tell us at this point..
Id even take a "Every DLC before X date will get 0 updates..
So we can focus fixing every dlc after that date!"

    I dunno. I'm just disillusioned i guess!!

Would so love to be able to make a couple of positive threads for a change.

That's how I feel when I see that not only has what the patch notes describe not been fixed, but they've also broken other things that were working fine.

For anyone wondering, this is the complete list of fixes to the core:
    • Fixed an issue causing Temporary Speed Restrictions not to trigger PZB correctly.
    • Fixed an issue causing loco names to disappear from debrief screens.
    • Fixed an issue causing loading screens not to update correctly.
The other fixes are minor tweaks to DLC. No mention of texture issues on consoles.

See second post of this thread

My reaction will be to ignore them seeing as the last patch notes listed fixes which seemingly weren't there and not a single community manager could be bothered to reply, give any answers or do anything apart from move posts about these missing fixes to the troubleshooting forum as if we're be able to troubleshoot why their patch notes listed things which weren't in the patch.

They mentioned this in the last updates patch notes
And now the next update, no mention of it whatsoever...

Last update didn't mention about the sea being fixed on the Riviera, but it was included. So let's be optimistic and see if it's slid in.

I’m poised to buy Birmingham-Crewe on the basis of this patch being successful for pc players and fixing the TT services. If it cures the problems then I will spend my money, so I’m looking forward to feedback from peeps on here.

Where are the patch notes on the forums? Have they completely abandoned the forums to such an extent game updates are no longer even tagged as such?

Confused me too.. it seems patch notes have become something to use as marketing material.. so we got them a day early.. dont get too exited though... its mostly all B2C related not any of the other 9865 bugs that have been reported

Presume the patch notes will be included in a separate post once the update goes live.

    I take that back.

    Cab differences weren't implemented.
Lighting issues (Instr lights glowing brightly between sunrise and sunset, showing dim rise versa
AWS Sunflower still has lighting issues.
Door open/release, close and interlock lights still won't illuminate.
Pantograph/ MCB light issue still not fixed.

    EDIT:
Cab differences apparently means only removing that huge box on the left of the drivers desk, but not hence adjusting the position of the reading light.

This is just taking the mick at this point
