Can anyone tell me, how this route and time period was researched?

Why are the Mint n-Wagen from Linke Rheinstrecke not include, whereas the Intercity coaches are?
Why is the "DB Regio" sticker still applied, when a few people told they came in 2009?
Why are important locos of the time such as the 103 omitted?
When it is so easy and uncomplicated to create paints, why no S-Bahn Stuttgart 423?

Please dear Teams at DTG and TSG, why didn't you look into what portfolio you have and look into YouTube where there are videos from that era displaying nicely how colorful German trains were in 2000?

I really regret to tell this, but under this circumstances the route could've been set in 2009 and it would've been correct and under this circumstances I won't buy the product until a sales. I'm very sorry having had to write this, but it is sad....very sad....albeit the route looking marvellous.

    Kind regards.

Whilst it's a great thing you're finally warning players about the blurry textures (mainly for consoles no doubt), it's still poor to release new, full priced content before fixing the issue.

Why you keep asking this question over and over? Its for me very obvious they are not willing to answer or change it! No hate but its what you get what you have seen on the preview stream tonight.

Yeah wiko sounds are not that good and 1:1 reused from the Kako. Its not terribly off (like the silent dostos) but not perfect either.

At least the 140 didnt get a completely copied 110 soundset but some refreshing new sounds

Yeah and its difficult to get them. There are some operators they have them in service but they have no replacement stock to let DTG obtain sounds from. Most of them are small companies.

Oh come on, TRI (for example) is no longer a really small company. And I imagine they would be quite cooperative. But DTG simply taken the easy way out again.

    And by the way:

With the Class 140, it was possible to record new, original sounds, and lo and behold, the big Deutsche Bahn doesn't even run those locomotives in scheduled service anymore (except perhaps in the DB Museum). I would almost say that getting hold of current sounds of a 140 would be more difficult than getting hold of those of a Wittenberger control car.

If I may suggest to the developers regardless of what country to reach out to the community when their project is in an early stage. Then such things can be avoided and the community can assist with photos, maps, texts or whatever. Please consider it.

    Kind regards.

They have a large group of users and can bring in a lot of ideas, but the real question is: money, time, and whether they are willing to do it. It’s not as simple as doing everything the community asks for. There are certainly more limitations than possibilities.

I respond to youre private message in which I pointed out that the German community simply doesn’t have realistic expectations and, unfortunately, is often quite demanding. It’s not that I’m a DTG fanboy, but I think I understand a bit better that not everything is possible. There are boundaries and choices that aren’t made overnight but have to be taken in order to keep budgets under control. I believe many developers at DTG would love to implement everything, but at the end of the day money is needed, because those same people also need to be paid. Maybe that sounds childish, but I can’t keep asking the baker to change the bread either at some point the baker says: “No! We decide what’s possible, not you as the customer. If you don’t like it, that’s your problem.

I have meanwhile looked into the TSC Discord, and Joe, the creator of the timetable, has confirmed there that there is absolutely no possibility to mix the coaches from other routes with those of the route itself. As soon as you do that, the game crashes due to the absence of new features such as conductor mode and the differences between trains caused by changes made in newer versions of the n-wagons. The n-wagons from the Mittenwaldbahn also won’t work because there is an issue with how substitution functions, and Maik is not available to adjust this for use on the Stuttgart–Heilbronn route. Therefore, the discussion about different n-wagons can be definitively closed.

    Ah, very informative, thanks! :)

It's a shame that the Mittenwald n-Wagen don't work, since they are already set up for conductor mode. But they are a completely different build compared to the other n-Wagen, so I can get behind the reasoning.

What's sad is that this could have been the perfect opportunity to overhaul the old n-Wagen, in particular the mint ones. They would have needed it anyway (there's still this headlights bug on the cab car, for example). And in return, both Linke Rheinstrecke timetables would have profited from it in terms of conductor mode.

That's where this policy of releasing routes bundled with rolling stock comes around to bite itself in the backside. :|

You always seem to hear that the most sensible things can't be done for this or that reason. That's really a shame and shows what a wildly programmed mess TSW is. And there are no efforts to escape the chaos.

Question: When I download and install a mint green livery for the special n-Wagen which is used on the new route, will it appear randomly on KI trains? I think yes
So we only need the livery for This type of n-Wagen

Then BOO! to DTG for not doing the work, or making alternate liveries for the new coaches. Although perhaps not as glaring as not even painting out "Westfrankenbahn"
