We just had Birmingham crew route why cant we have the Class 350 2/3 Backdated to the WCML south and have the WCML update for platform announcements and train announcements on the class 390 I would like to see as AI only 802 from GWR route
There's a new timetable for WCML South that will be included with the upcoming Class 805 from All Aboard. I imagine the updated 350s will be included in that timetable.
Gonna be honest, not sure why everyone wants the Brum to Crewe 350s on Euston to Milton Keynes. I admit to being no expert on 350s, but aren't they made to be aligned to how they were in 2019? The timetable on Euston Milton Keynes is newer than that, and the 805 timetable newer still
Between 2019 and 2024, 350/2 were regularly used on Euston to Tring and Euston to Milton Keynes workings. They would also appear on other Desiro workings from time to time. So irrespective of when the route is set, they would be appropriate to see on WCML South. I think your bigger problem with bringing the 350/2 in is that it’s suggested they are the reason behind a lot of performance issues on Crewe-Birmingham and as we know WCML South isn’t exactly reliable!
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the changes that have happened to the 350 fleet between 2019 and 2025 is that: 350/1: Now in LNWR livery 350/2: Mostly stored but some still running (due to being replaced by 730/2s) 350/3: Nothing? Obtained 350/4 from TPE in 2020
GWR Class 802 are cleared for and have run into Euston on occasion. Once they start work on the mainline platforms at Old Oak Common, IET's will regularly be pathed into Euston via Willesden or Bletchley.
