I always prefer to use these on desktop icons rather than in the launcher and they work for me all the time there. Don't know if that launcher is acting on 32 or 64 bit or both so maybe try creating a desktop shortcut and set the command line to have the -followaitrain right at the end (outside of the speech marks)
Not at home right now, but... Use file explorer to browse to your railworks folder Right click railworks64.exe, click send to, click desktop (This presumes you want to use 64 bit, if not then right click railworks.exe) This will create a shortcut on your desktop to railworks64 Right click this, click PROPERTIES at the bottom of the menu Go to the shortcut tab at the top Click in the TARGET line and then go all the way to the END of that line. You will see something along the lines of \railworks64.exe" After the speechmark put a space and then type in -followaitrain Click OK Now when you run railworks using that icon on your desktop the followaitrain parameter should be in effect There are also ones for changing your field of view (how much of the cab you can see), limiting FPS (helps when your GPU struggles) and asynckeys, which allows you to speed up the time in game (good for long boring runs on greens)
Very pleased you've got into freeroaming ARuscoe - after our conversation a few months ago about freeroaming I got the impression you strongly thought freeroaming was something that mustn't be done with a 'simulator.' If freeroaming gives you half the pleasure it does me, that's good news.
I doubt I will EVER get into freeroaming as it's not my thing. Other people are free to do as they choose.
It's the most devastating moment in a young mans life, when he quite reasonably says to himself, "I shall never play The Dane!"
