Bad Vibel, the amazing German country side route mentions that a BR52 ran on this line. That would be an excellent unit to make this route complete
I hope we'll get an Br 01 since it has its 100th birthday this year, and we got Flying Scotsman on its Anniversary if I remember correctly so maby there is a tiny chance.
You asked for it, TSG did it. Apparently they are reworking the physics of the steam. Although it has been specified that steam locomotives already released will not be affected, I hope that they will be updated someday with this new physics if it is successful.
I would love to see a Pannier, Prairie and an Ivatt 41241 in the game. l might have mentioned this before but l hope DTG Alex will pass this request on to the developers team, as a smaller steam engine would be fantastic to have in the game. They released Thomas the Tank Engine last year but refused to release it into the creators club for players to amend. I wouldn’t object to having a manor like Odney Manor for WSR or even a Manor like Hadley Manor.
BR Standard Class 5 73xxx, Class 4 75xxx or a 2-6-4T either ex LMS or BR Standard. GWR wise lots of options with a Hall being the best option for mixed traffic. Southern, got to be a Bulleid West Country or Merchant Navy both in original and rebuilt designs. DTG could make an absolute mint with a decent steam era route encompassing more than one region and the virtually limitless choice of locos to add.
I would be praying for a reprieve for Hayling Island branch and the Terriers. But would love a Standard 4MT or anything Southern especially a Bulleid. But honestly at this stage I'm just happy we have some form of steam back! I wonder if the core is fixed if JT would go anywhere near it?
