Well done Dovetail, done the tutorials and a couple of scenarios, it's an excellent route. A few points: Lots of other trains on the route without an fps drop, looks great and a more inhabited 'world.' Being able to use NTP locos on Railtours is a great idea, I have already run a class 40 on the route and it runs fine, though if I was being pedantic I think the people running railtours would have given the trains a jetwash and not left them covered in dust from the 1980s. The 377 is an easy drive, I find it similar to the M7 on LIRR, simply throttle up or brake back, and amazingly has an even smaller front windscreen. Are there new graphical effects? The red/green signals have a nice distance 'haze' to them, looks real.
Still available to pre-order for us on Steam, probably releasing sometime today. First time I am this excited for an addon for TSW just to see what it's like. The core updates do look good, and especially the Class 166 bug
I definitely love it. Graphically, that's the best TSW scenario so far: frame rate is rock-solid, draw distance is great, especially approaching Brighton through the London Road Viaduct (what a view!). The 377 is a lovely smooth train... There are several services (Railtour is a good idea, it deserves more stops...), so I can forgive DTG for the shortness of the route...
