Evening all! I just recently picked up Frankfurt S-Bahn and noticed that the FTF service that runs via Sud isnt portrayed onto S-Bahn with the same service number running into the tunnel. Does anyone know of any workaround or TT Mod that would create a connection to be able to run S8 Wiesbaden - Hbf (Main). Then Hbf (Main) to Hanau via Sud. It would mean at least 1 of the S8s is able to run player available throughout. If there isn't, would any free for time handy-person be able to make the slight swap? Its the same service number on both routes it just needs routing via the main Hbf not in to the tunnel.
While I could. Im talking more specifically TT related rather than just plonking one down and driving about. I have a mod installed to get the 430s now anyway. Just wish the mod would be able to allow 423s to still exist on the correct AI routes around Sud but then thats me being a bit of a perfectionist
Nah, not in one go... the 'highest' track no you can reach from (Hanau-)Offenbach-Ost is 13. While the lowest track no you can reach from (Wiesbaden-)Niederrad is 14. Not sure, if there might be a possible shunt move to get your train from 13 to 14(sounds quite near, but well one junction missing...), but even when, it wouldn't be possible in one go.
What about using the IC lines to leave Hbf and then jumping over before the Airport? It could be possible wether its realistic or not. All i know is that on FTF theres an S8 that runs Frankfurt High Level to Hanau and its listed as a Wiesbaden service
Well, yes it's possible, if you stand in FF-Niederrad, you will remark two tracks to the east with no platform. These tracks are actually a connector to the Stadion-Frankfurt-Süd-Line (not modelled in game). So, more or less, you can go Stadion-Niederrad (Pl. 2, I think)-Frankfurt Hbf (Pl. 20+)- Niederrad 5- Portal-Frankfurt-Süd (Pl. 7,8 or 9)-Offenbach Hbf (Pl.5)-using the third track between Offenbach Hbf and Offenbach Ost-Offenbach-Ost (Pl.1)-and further to Hanau. (Even though you would have to fast travel from Frankfurt Hbf to Frankfurt Süd to re-take over the train in Frankfurt Süd.)
