Maybe an unpopular meaning, but actually I don't want remasters. Maybe a remake is a better solution. Earlier today I post this in another thread:

"Today I installed TSW3 together with the old routes from TSW1 and TSW2. Bought recently a key on a online marketplace, never tried the basegame of TSW3 before. Everything is working fine and for the first time I was able to do a run on the non remastered version of Dresden - Riesa. Men, how on earth did they manage to ruin this route so badly. It always felt there was something off with this route, color of trees, contrast and a cartoony look overall. Well, the original route looks great with natural colors, it's a bit darker, but by moments it feels like watching a vid of the real thing."

Newer routes made with TOD4 lighting from scratch do look better then the remastered Dresden - Riesa route. In general TOD4 is a mixed bag for me, can look great in curtain moments of the day but on other moments it can look more unnatural. Once a route is remastered, you can only play the original on a older version of the game, which require multiple versions installed. So a remake, maybe in a more modern setting, can solve this as the original remains the same.

I voted BML, SKA and HRR. All great routes, although HRR is really looking tired now, and with signalling issues that have never been looked at (and let's be honest, never will) it's hard to go back and play, even though I really like the route and mixture of services.

Went with NTP (very close over TVL, but TVL remains fun whereas NTP is overall darker and thus hurt more by old lighting; besides, it doesn't have TVL's service variety and could use more). Munchen-Augsburg, because in conception it could be another Frankfurt-Fulda, given how much DTG have learned (besides, it must get the 420). And then Clinchfield (lump "US Freight" vote), because it came so very close to being great on release, but had issues, and that was some years ago now.

I voted for Brighton Mainline, Northern Trans-Pennine & Hauptstrecke Hamburg - Lübeck, although for Hamburg I hope it would get extended, certainly to Travemünde and maybe Puttgarden. Much more opportunities for more complete Passenger and freight workings. 218 and DMU north of Lübeck. I think it would make an interesting route.

Yes, this would make a great route. Also would give us the freight yards at Skandinavien Kai for freight operations and shunting. Rothenburgsort was surprisingly included in original route would serve as southern ending point for freight. Travemünde and Puttgarden to Hamburg before the Kiss EMU´s would be a great playground for the BR 218.
