Hi guys I own all German routes but dong play half of them. What could I uninstall that would affect freight jobs. I know german routes rely at lot on layering from eachother. I want to uninstall some to help with performance on xbox x. Thanks
It's mostly depending on what routes you still want to play. I split up my collection on two versions of the games, everything pre TSW3 on one game and everything from TSW3 and onwards on the other. However, for example the red BR363, still layers on a lot of newer routes, so does the BR101, but this add-on can be installed without HRR installed. Linke Rheinstrecke does not give many layers, other then some railtours, as it is a route in a different era.
Now that you are bringing it up, I never really play anything pre TSW 3 and only have it installed for layers. With Ruhr-Sieg-Nord and Sandpatch Grade beeing expections, that I will sometimes come back to.
I think you can delete RRO, HRR (not needed for BR101), and SKA. Someone named Munchen - Augsburg already for no layers, Tharanter Rampe gives the BR612 and Railpool BR185 and maybe MSB gives some freight layers on newer routes, but I'm not sure. Kassel - Wurzburg gives layers for freight and also passensger trains.
On the whole, Dresden-Riesa gave layers for all the modern German stock that existed up to that time except for the 422, (not counting DLC locos), and I believe Dresden-Leipzig does the same

I want to uninstall the older routes like lubeck, ruhr osten, rain ruhr, original dresden risa & ruhr said nord. But if do will i loose alot services on all reaming German routes.
Ruhr Sieg Nord layers on a lot of other routes, be it with locos or wagons. RRO is only important it you want to use the G6 anywhere else. HRR seems not important for layers (the BR 101 can be used without HRR) Which routes do you want to play?
I play mainly bremen oldenburg, dresden leipzig, stuttgart heilbronn, linke ,maintalbahn main spessbarn and koln aachen and sometimes frankfurt s bahn.
Köln Aachen for the new timetable is too much to list here (check out the link above), Frankfurt S-Bahn on console only layers in the 411 from Frankfurt-Fulda. Bremen Oldenburg gets a lot better with the 101 and Kassel-Würzburg (driveable 401 and AI 403/146 at Bremen. The other layers add less stuff. Linke I believe only layers the 401 and Niddertal on the original TT. For the 194 gameplay pack you also need Mittenwald (for the IC coaches behind the 103. Maintalbahn benefits from the 218 (has its own timetable) and Niddertal. The G6 (needs RRO) replaces the 363, and is nicer to drive (IMO). Other layers is only AI at Aschaffenburg, which is great scenery but offers nothing more. MSB has no layers, only substitutions from other freight locos. Dresden Leipzig really needs Rapid Transit, the 101, Tharandter Rampe and Maintalbahn. IMO of course.
