Real Life Vs Tsw - London

I just arrived back from London and here are some real photos I took with their in-game versions taken as closely as possible. It's interesting to see what improvements can be made to lighting, especially the greyness.

Wow, Bushey looks very different from my perspective.

Why does the roof and PIS board look so close to the passenger's heads?

 

I believe it's just the angle of the camera. And slightly because of placement

 

Does show you how bland the sim is compared to real life.

 

It shows how much small details the game is missing

 

Wow, a lot of negativity here! I don’t think the sim vs real comparisons are that bad. Yes there are some major texturing issues with TSW (I’d be the first to complain about cloudy settings which are dire), but otherwise, this is a good effort.

 

For what it's worth, the TSW versions are quite close.

 

TSW looks like it's on a TV with the contrast really turned down. I thought the lighting was improving in TSW but it's still got a long way to go before it looks realistic. Everywhere looks like it's in an arid Mediterranean holiday destination.
