Route Length: Total is ~100 miles (160 km), but all of it is probably impractical

    Rolling Stock:
New loco: NSB Class Di8, Hunslet Bo-Bo or Janus
Layered loco: Class 20 (shunting), Class 66 (freight transfers), Class 142 (railtours)
Wagons: Torpedo wagon, slag ladles, iron ore hoppers, rail flats

    Gameplay: Freight, shunting, heritage railtours

Scenery: Scunthorpe Steelworks, Blast Furnaces, the Basic Oxygen Steelmaking (BOS) plant, the Continuous Casting plant, Rail & Section Mill, etc

    Licenses: ?

    Time Period: Whenever

    Similar Add-ons: Oakville Subdivision (shunting)

Why this route: I think this would make for a unique route unlike any previous DLC. The network consists of approximately 100 miles (160 km) of track, serving the vast 2,000-acre site, though doing all of it is probably impractical. The railway is essential for moving raw materials like iron ore and coal. Crucially, it is used to transport torpedo wagons filled with molten iron from the blast furnaces to the steel-making plant. The site has direct links to the national rail network, allowing British Steel to export finished products (like the 100-meter long rails they supply to Network Rail) and receive bulk deliveries

In addition to shunting services and freight transfers, heritage railtours are run by the Appleby Frodingham Railway - Scunthorpe (AFR-S) volunteer-run organization.

Yes and please. An industrial network is long overdue.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Nothing like it in TSW at the moment.

Unfortunately, it isn't consistent with the current direction of commuter rail. It would need a 3P with a commitment to step way outside the box.
