In this post i want suggest to introduce in the game the pere marquette 1225 berkshire N.1 steam locomotive, because it is a famous locomotive and the game up to now have a lot diesel and electric locomotives but only some steam locomotive, it’s a steam locomotive 2-8-4 steam locomotive built by Lima Locomotive Works in 1941.I think that it can have more “skin” like the jubell that have the crimson or the black skin, but for the pere marquette you can make the Polar express skin, i think that everybody that likes steam locomotives have watch this movie, and who don’t want use the reguletor of the Polar express that the engineer in the movie have broke or the brake that the hero boy use for stop the train before crossing the caribou herd, or pulling the whistle cord to sound the beautiful Polar Express whistle, and if you make it please add the polar express coaches too, so we can see the beatiful observatory coach with its balcony and its red light. Please add it as a add-on but is not a simple thing to do so it can cost 100-80€, and if you want but is VERY difficult you can add the Noth Pole map (like an add-on that can cost maybe 30-20€). I Believe in you developers, so please add this magic train for a magic train experience! Thanks you
Polar Express probably a licencing nightmare though. And it would need a suitable route, not one with the impossible curves, gradients or ice running of the movie!
Yes you are right, the cost of all the lincenses that the developers need for the Polar Express are very expensive, but it is a similar situation to the “thomas and friends” collaboretion, i know a lot of people who have bought it, because thomas is a iconic cartoon train, this is similar to the Polar express collaboretion, i know that the cost of the licenses for the polar express are more expensive than the thomas & friend licenses, otherwise the Polar Express is a very famous train and it can cost more than di other add-on for cover the lincese-rights cost, becasue is a very unique train, is not the common diesel engine of everyday, but is a steam engine that in the normal version, the pere marquette 1225 version, is a freight train and in the polar express skin is a passegger train, in my opinion it is wonderful. For the route problem is obvius that you can’t make an ice lake or impossible curves, the route it must be suitable for the real characteristics with a snowy setting in the style of the north pole.
