Just finished this service everything ran perfectly. One of the best UK Freight runs I have done.

    Thanks

I can confirm that after waiting approximately 9 minutes several fast passenger services passed which then lead to a green light and I was able to press on with the service. I'm not poo pooing the work, personally slow freight with the class 66 is one of my favorite play through so I'm very happy to see more services added. What I am getting at is if you look the right of the HUD, it's telling me to wait to 5 to 1... at night... 9 hours later. I appreciate this wasn't the case but how do these little things keep slipping through the net? That's what frustrates me with the game

I’m having lots of fun with the new freight services on the BML. To this day,I’m still not sure how Joe was able to pull this off. The most services out of any route is just amazing. Watching all the action go by from the slow 66 is just so satisfying. Thank you for fixing and making the BML ever better.

Just discovered this, just discovered all the speed limits are wrong? Eg i just passed a 90mph speed limit board and the game thinks I'm passing a 60 board, same for other speed limits with absolutely no explanation of why they're wrong.

Class 4 freight I'm driving, limited to 75 on the wagons.

Appreciate if someone can tell me what I've done wrong, because all the posts above seem merry and unaware of any actual problem

Freight on the BML, regardless of wagon, is all restricted to 60 for some reason. I've had it too, I just adjust to it accordingly.

I think there are some freight services on some routes that seem to have an implementation of the two thirds rule but I don’t think I got any solid answers last time I asked about it in the forum. It appears that there is/was a rule where freight trains can travel no faster than two thirds of the passenger line speed but I’m not clued up enough to know the specifics of it, if it is even still relevant. In any case, I don’t think it’s implemented correctly on the services in TSW. It’s certainly not consistent, as in some freight services get the lower limits in the HUD and some don’t, and some ignore even the freight limits on differential speed boards and use passenger speeds.

Both BML and BCC have the weird attempt at implementing freight speed limits, which mean you never quite know what you are getting next!!

Class 4 freight should be 75.

Class 6 freight should be 60.

How do you know which one applies to your train ?
I suppose the HUD doesn't reflect the correct limit most of the time (rather exception than the rule), depends on the route ?

I've also noticed a switch in the 66 cab, on the passenger side, just above the floor... it's called grande vitesse (high speed) when I over the crosshair on it...
What is it meant for ? Is it just a ventilation flap that could be shut when running above say 60mph, or is it something else ?

I only found about this through this thread popping up again. Freight services that reverse into a branch on BML? Cool...got to give that a try today.
