PC Player - Steam. I have all DLC, I see no 142 services on Crewe-Birmingham so this looks like a mod is adding the service?
I've never seen it either although I've never looked for it as I would not expect to see it. I suspect TFW would have cancelled the service rather than use a Pacer on it. I wonder if a Pacer has even been seen in Wolverhampton in revenue earning service? If so it would be a one off.
It's not a mod, honest. That's why I was asking if you were on console vs PC as I know some timetables are nerfed on console for hardware reasons. See attached screenshot of my DLC folder, as far as I know that 142 file is the original from JT.
Well I don't know, quite frankly I'd have kept my mouth shut if I knew I was going to get all this hassle. I've shown my DLC folder, as far as I know it's not a mod, the only mods I have for that route is the signal lighting tweak and the visual tweaks, no additional timetables or scenarios. Last time I try and be helpful!
Try and keep the hostility away, please. We only ask as we've stated from both console and other PC players that the 142 (for us at least) doesn't appear to show. There is no 'hassle'. We're just curious.
That's not hostility, it's genuine frustration. I was going to just walk away but I had a thought, maybe it's a DLC combination? I don't recall noticing anything in particular layer wise during the journey but again it was at night. I have every UK DLC except the "WSR still in use" and "Mildmay" routes, perhaps some random asset is what is required to trigger it? How about reaching out to JT themselves?
I pinged Benedict to enquire, but received no response. If I recall, on the preview stream for the 142, I'm fairly certain that JT stated that the repainted 150/153 & 142 would only be on Cardiff. So it's definitely confusing as to why/how you've gotten to acquire it elsewhere.
I have just checked (on PC) and the 142 doesn't appear to be selectable on the Birmingham to Crewe route for me.
