How do I get freight on Birmingham Cross-City with the default timetable? I own SEHS, in the layer menu I see the Class 66 EWS layer from SEHS active, but there are 3 freight layers from SEHS marked as not owned. In the timetable menu, the Class 66 is not visible at all, only the Class 323 and on foot.

Do you own Tees Valley Line, the Class 31 and the RHTT pack?

None of these are owned, RHTT is the cleaning one, isn't it?

Yeah RHTT is the cleaning pack. And now I understand what you meant with the 3 freight layers.
You need the Tees Valley for Steel, Class 31 for Cement (PCA’s are used) and the RHTT for the majority of class 66 services

Thanks for the explanation. I read the Dovetail live article about this route, I couldn't get this info out of it. If I buy the RHTT, do I see AI freight trains other then the cleaning ones, or still need Tees Valley? SEHS also has some freight wagons, I don't get why they didn't layer those on the route.

On my limit of knowledge.. I think you’ll see RHTT runs. Haven’t run on BCC in a while, so I’m unsure of that. Tees Valley is recommended for a more chance of some freight train to appear… unless it’s seasonal.

Even with all the freight layers there's not that many services in the game,
Not sure how busy this line is for freight in real life though

You can read all about it in the Timetable Deep Dive article.

I found this article, but it doesn't make very clear what services are coming from SEHS. The issue is, for me no services are coming from default SEHS while the article says it's the core for freight services:

"The core of the freight timetable is based on the BR Class 66, as featured in Southeastern Highspeed, however other Class 66s can substitute into this so you can pick which one you want to drive. The JNAs are also used on occasional AI services on the West Coast Main Line at Lichfield Trent Valley. Remember, if you already own Southeastern High Speed in Train Sim World 2, when you buy Train Sim World 3 you get the extended version for free – the same rings true if you kick-off your journey with the Birmingham Cross-City Starter Pack."

I also own GWE, but not installed right now, so will install GWE and see of anything is added.

"Owners of Great Western Express will find they have 3 additional freight services in the timetable; a container service using the FKAs before the sun rises, and a pair of HKA aggregate services under the shadow of night. The FKAs are also used for more occasional West Coast Main Line AI traffic."

I'm not interested in Tees Valley Line or the Class 31, so maybe something for a deep sale.

Next up is Tees Valley Line, using the BBA wagons, a trio of steel-laden services await the daring rise and fall of the Lickey. Lastly, if you also own the Class 31, the included PCA wagons are used on another 3 cement services."

The RHTT is only seasonal, so I don't know if you see them parked or so trough the year.

So today I installed GWE, I now have 3 services with the Class 66. So in conclusion, on it's own SEHS don't give you anything, you'll need Tees Valley Line + Class 31 for more freight. This route includes only one train, was it to much of an effort to include a Class 66 + some freight wagons with this route?

I would definitely recommend the RHTT next time it is on offer.

    Worth picking up.

Even with all layers enabled, there are only 20 freight services on each timetable.
