Hi I'm new to forum so apologies if I've posted in wrong area. I'm looking to buy the UK route from Cambridge to Brighton driving a class 700 series. As the store has so many routes I'm not sure the correct one to buy? Or if this is even possible with a 700 series ? Many thanks in advance.
Hello, welcome. unfortunately, there isn’t a Cambridge to Brighton Route at the moment. The Class 700 is sold as a separate train Add-On (Is NOT included by default in any routes), and has a timetable for Southeastern High Speed (Extended), and is a layer in ECML Peterborough to Doncaster, but only has ECS services between the platforms and the sidings to the north of the station. I admit, when I first downloaded TSW, I also thought developers created complete end-to-end routes for almost everything, but then I realised there are a few, not all of which are end-to-end, but offer a nice driving experience.
As pointed out, there is no Cambridge to Brighton route, there is however, London Victoria to Brighton. The 700 doesn't go on it unfortunately, unless you're on PC and download a mod
Is it possible that you want the Train Simulator Classic route? This is the forum for Train Sim World and TSW doesn’t have that route.
You can also buy the London Victoria to Brighton route, as a substitute. Although the 700 doesn’t have a timetable for that route, you can either create a scenario and add the 700 that way or find a scenario on Creators Club. If you’re on PC, you can just download a timetable mod where someone created a full working timetable with 700 included into the Brighton route.
