    Hi everyone,
I am suggesting the TCDD 56000 Series (specifically engine number 3558) for Train Sim World. This is one of the most iconic steam locomotives of Turkish State Railways (TCDD).
It is a powerful 2-10-0 locomotive capable of reaching 75 MPH (120 km/h). I have been working on gathering authentic sound recordings and technical information to help the developers represent this locomotive accurately in the game.
Adding a Turkish steam locomotive would bring a unique international flavor to TSW, and I am ready to provide all the resources I have collected to the Dovetail team.
    Best regards,
    soner acs-64.
If you are interested, I can send the MP3 sound files and additional technical data to you via email. Please let me know how I can provide these resources to the development team.

Not going to come without a Turkish route unfortunately. There was a whisper the guys who did the Turkish route for TSC might be interested in coming over to TSW but that was a while back and nothing heard since. Also their preferred era modern, so unlikely they would do something steam related. Then there’s still the general hiatus over steam traction in TSW - everyone is basically waiting on TSG to see how their DB steam loco turns out.

Actually, this locomotive is a German-born machine (Krupp/Henschel), very closely related to the German steam series. It was specifically produced for Turkey, but since it has German DNA, it could easily be used on German DB routes in TSW as well. It’s a perfect bridge between Turkish and German rail history!
