Hi all, Just wondering if 220009 is named as it is in reality within the game? I've not seen it as yet so wondering if it does carry it's Hixon nameplate?
Carries it irl. It was renamed from to Hixon to commemorate the 1968 Hixon rail crash. Originally named Gatwick Voyager.
In fairness the BR 425 on BRO, the Jubilee's on SOS, the 323’s on BCC and numerous other DTG have all had name plates as well. I get that on these forums, its an accepted fact that we all love JT and despise DTG, but lets keep to factual complaints shall we?
OldVern rightly pointed out that all was not well regarding JT content back in the TS era. I was personally pleasantly surprised, and it was indeed a surprise because I wasn't a fan at all of JT content for TS...
It is indeed high quality stuff and that's why I like it, as I liked AP stuff for TS. I too tend to prefer modern routes, but I find that nothing provides as much pleasure as driving the Class 86 and 87 !
I might give it a go in a sale - I’m planning to buy the stuff eventually for layers, it does look very good
I reckon it isn’t modelled with nameplates - I’ve had a look and there is nothing about it in the articles, and they usually do highlight it as it is a feature people like. The only way to really tell would just be to play and play or spawn and spawn until you get 220009, or maybe query via a support ticket so they ask the devs, but I reckon it isn’t modelled with nameplates.
Hey everyone, just popping in to let you know I did take a few moderation actions. I deleted a few comments here as they were on the border of being a little inflammatory, and I don't want others to be put off from commenting after the thread has come back to the current topic at hand. I'm not locking the thread, as some folks probably want to know if there are numbers on the trains or the plaques and such.
