Shader Pop Ins. A Little More Help - Thanks

    Hi all

    I’m hoping folks can help with an age old question.

    There is one final bit of shadow pop-in that I’m finding hard to fix. I seem to have fixed everything else (thanks to people's lovely help and suggestions).

    Its the specific type of shadows on housing.

    In my zoomed-in screenshot you can see where the shadow pops in, and where it hasn’t yet popped in.

    I’ve heavily modded my ini file, with a long draw distance of about 30 for foliage and shadows and all other LOD.

    I use this too:

    r.DFDistanceScale=10

    r.AOMaxViewDistance=20000

    Nothing else in the game is affected by pop-ins or shaders anymore. Everything else is perfect.

    All the trees, plants, bushes and major assert shadows (lampposts, fences, cars etc) all work wonderfully.

    I’ve played the route constantly so to the old tip of running the line a few times until the shaders are fully compiled wont be relevant anymore. Everything works.


    All except these specific type of shadows popping in.

    Is there a way I can get them to load-in instantly

    or

    is there a way I can get these specific shaders to draw but at a huge distance away so the pop in isn’t noticeable?
