Does The Br Class 31 And Class 52 (br Variant) Run On The Northern Trans Pennine?

I have the northern trans pennine on tsw 6, and I want to expand the collection of old diesels. If I buy class 31 and 52, will there be scenarios/timetables in the northern trans pennine?

If you don't already have it, the BR Heavy Freight Pack adds a Class 08 with shunting duties and a Class 40 with freight services to NTP. (Actually I think the 40, 45 and 47 can all be used interchangeably on passenger and freight duties)

 

No, unfortunately the 31 doesn't appear. I am hoping one day a new timetable might emerge which could feature the 31. I might have a look at downloading the editor and see what is involved in making a timetable. NTP might be a good one to start with as it doesn't have a huge amount of traffic. Not sure if I am brave enough yet though.

The 52 would be totoally unrealistic (not that, that seems a metric for TSW sometimes) for the route so thankfully doesn't appear.

 

The 52 is a dead no but if you're on PC there is a mod which allows the 31 to sub into any services that the 45/47 run as well as for the heavy freight services

D1023 made it to Leeds on the 'Western Finale' tour in 1977, but otherwise they wouldn't have run anywhere near any of the stations on NTP, and by 1983 when the route is set would have long been withdrawn. It would be nice though if the Blue Western would randomly substitute for the Maroon one on the Diesel gala timetable for the West Somerset.

 

You could always spwan on foot then select the cl52 from there,i have driven the 52 pretty much everywhere

 

1013 made it there on a service train from Swansea in January 1977 but apart from that they never got there in service.

 

IIRC Class 31 was planned as DLC for NTP but it got changed as there is no way to substitute two Classes 31 for single Class 45 or 47. And a single 31 couldn't keep up to the timetable.
