After some extensive researching of my favourite routes irl, the Oberweserbahn and Eggebahn, I decided to form a suggestion. That is it now: Trains: NWB VT 643 (mainly used on RB84/85 services) DB BR 628 (optional legacy service) DB BR 212 (regional freight operator; used for freight and shunting duties) Routes / Services RB84 from Paderborn to Kreiensen RB85 from Paderborn to Göttingen Shunting and freight services New Feature: Coupling / uncoupling in passenger service Between Paderborn and Höxter-Ottbergen, RB84 and RB85 operate together as separate train portions which are split or combined in Höxter-Ottbergen during regular service. Scenarios: Oberweser / Eggebahn Introduction NWB VT 643 Introduction BR 212 Introduction Auf dem Holz(minden)weg: Shunt a timber train in Holzminden together and deliver it to Kreiensen Winter can come: Operate an oil train from Göttingen to Brakel (Westf) Herbstlibori: Drive a special passenger service from Kreiensen to Paderborn due to a major regional event Replacement Service: Take over an NWB VT 643 left stranded in Bad Driburg due to a sick driver and bring it safely to Höxter-Ottbergen Landesgartenschau: Drive a BR 212 with n-Wagen from Altenbeken to Höxter-Corvey, then onward to Holzminden Description: Start your journey with the NWB VT 643 in Paderborn, cross the viaduct in Altenbeken, and enjoy the dense, regional operations through the Weser Valley with varied gradients, curves and station layouts. Operate a BR 212 of a regional freight operator, hauling timber from Holzminden to Kreiensen, deliver oil to Brakel, and perform shunting duties in Stadtoldendorf in Train Sim World 6. Optional Add-on DLC Oberweser / Eggebahn – Historic Timetable Trains: DBB BR 628 (Pop-Art livery) DBB BR 614 (Pop-Art livery) DBB BR 212 Special Features Historic timetable (Epoche IV–V, up to 1990) Increased and more active freight traffic, primarily operated by the BR 212. Yes, I know that most of the trains are not in the game, but the NWB VT 643 is based on the Talent 1 platform, which is ingame as the ÖBB 4024, allowing partial reuse of already existing assets present in TSW. I am also aware that the BR 212 is not in the game too, but to "boost" a possible work on this, the BR 363 would be enough. It still will be a wish that the BR 212 gets added, since on other tracks it will be of use too. While the route covers a large corridor it is structured that the RB84 as an example can end in Holzminden instead of Kreiensen, but the operational highlight of this route stays the splitting and coupling in Höxter-Ottbergen, which makes the full Paderborn-Kreiensen and Paderborn-Göttingen corridor a valuable option, but it could remove some shunting and freight services instead. It makes the route different from others, putting more gameplay into the timetable since you don't have the usual "stop - passengers in and out - go" principle. The short shunting services between Brakel and Kreiensen, the coupling and splitting in the regular service at Höxter-Ottbergen and the fact, that the RB84 and RB85 lines run together in one train combination from Paderborn to the above-mentioned place makes it stand out from most of the other maps. I'll try to add more informations if needed and even pictures of the different train stations, trains, timetables, etc. (But remember: It will be difficult for me to photograph every train station on those lines, so please don't ask that...) Thank you for reading!
