Hi all, i’m currently looking at 4 or 5 different add-ons that are currently on sale. These being:
    • Glossop Line
    • BR 313
    • East Coastaway
    • BR Class 700/0
i’m also considering the Cardiff City Network route or the Manchester Airport Commuter.
I’m looking at these add-ons specifically as i want to expand my UK Collection hoping these provide layers for other exiting routes. Is there any other sales you all would recommend/avoid?
    Thanks everybody.

I would definitely consider ECW + 313 considering a new remaster and paid timetable is coming for that route. It is also a classic favorite as well.

They’re all pretty decent, but bear in mind you’ll need SEHS to get the most out of the Class 700.

Glossop doesn’t get much love, but it’s one I really enjoy - nice short well made commuter route.

I would probably recommend Manchester Airport over Glossop if you decide to go for either of them.

East Coastway, 313 & 700 will all probably be more worthwhile when the remaster comes out.

Cardiff also complements Manchester Airport, I believe.

Bought Glossop yesterday, nice route indeed. Perfect for a short run and I really like the rural feel of the route.

When DTG or a 3PD decide to head for the Capital (London) for a Southeastern route we definitely will. I still want to see the Class 707 one day too.
I was at London Bridge yesterday and the amount of traffic heading towards it is insane, it’s very busy. It’s mostly a combination of 376, 465, 466, 377, 700, 707 though.

ECW and the 313 are up there as my favourites! Especially if they're on sale I would definitely get those with the remaster coming!

I'm not a massive fan of the 700 personally what with all of the SEHS runs feeling a bit repetitive and boring. But it adds a few decent layers in places.

The 700 features as part of the ecw remaster blurb, but it's not clear how it fits in (new 171 timetable I guess, ai @ Brighton?)

definitely the 313 and east coastway, maybe glossop but probably not the 700. the loco itself is very solid but you can’t really get much use out of it and the soundset is a bit dodgy

Hi everyone, does anyone know if the Class 323 that comes with the Glossop Line is the older version without the improved suspension? And if that’s the case, is there an option to use the Class 323 from the Manchester Airport commuter in the glossop timetable mode replacing the other northern 323?

At this price I would get Glossop either way

If you have SEHS, the Class 700 adds a lot to the route between Dartford and Rainham.

Out of that lot I would plump for ECW and the 313. You get a fair length run and some nice scenery.

Glossop is nice, but short and very stop/start.

Never got round to buying MIA, should have gone to Crewe otherwise it's just another city suburban route of which we have several.

Class 700, nice model but ruined by the soundset and very under used in the game.
