Most of what's listed in all posts above.

Features that appear in one route but not another later released route, i.e. Bridge/Tunnel reverb, Neutral Sections and track shadow distance

That DTG, and all of it's third party content creators, can't be bothered to add the proper number of paths to their routes meaning that whole swathes of a route cannot be accessed. This may sound like a big thing but, trust me, it takes just 1 minute to create 1 new path.

Have you? I may have to try it again then and hope it's been fixed. I didn't speed or fall short of stop markers on my last attempt.

Me too, I forget how to cold start some of the German trains if I haven’t drove them in a while. Training modules refresh the ole memory :)

I agree with alot of the things you peeps have mentioned.

One of the things I find frustrating is when they add something to the game, wether it be a new graphics effect or some feature that is meant to be fun or practical, they don't seem to get it fully working properly.

As people above have mentioned, working level crossings is an example. Good idea and when they work they are neat but it seems as often as not cars ignore the gates and drive right through them and through your train. Track Monitor is another, a great feature when it works properly but it frequently doesn't show all the speed changes so you can't really trust it.

There are so many things like this, good ideas but for whatever reason they stop short of making them fully functional and are left as they are.

The fact is that I can't sort services by duration, and I have to scroll through the depot movements and other "fascinating" tasks lasting 00:03 - 00:05 for several minutes.
And of course, nights that falls an hour earlier, as DTG is unable to adjust ingame configs for the daylight saving time.

The 802 does have some cab light issues too. If you turn on the downlighters they appear on and cast light but after a few minutes these lights appear off but are still casting light.

    Yes, both have lighting issues.

The 220 internal lights not illuminating anything and the AWS sunflower not illuminating either, is very annoying indeed and really should not be a hard fix, as it works for basically ever other train in the game!!

Bit like the broken DRA on the 802 (and also 805 apparently!).

I quite dislike the Tags when hovering over ai trains when in map view.. not everyone knows the service numbers and wish they would put the train type (ie 390 or 378 etc) on the tag as well

I experienced this recently while running a timetable on SPG, had to nudge the train forward multiple times dreading the possibility of being unable to stop in time and getting hit with a SPAD. Thanks for reminding me of how much of a pain that was.

The scant descriptions of services are annoying. It's not so critical for passenger services, but why not include the train's weight and number of cars in the description for freight services? Why can TSG add this information, which is extremely convenient, but DTG cannot?

    https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/app-tsw-save-game-manager-multiple-save-slots.95802/

The niggle is not so much the actual small issues (like the Training always switching the colour markers back on), but that the people running the show just completely ignore QOL changes that might only take five minutes to change a couple of lines of code or even just flick a switch in the developer UI!

As no one has mentioned it yet: same old German Dostos for every route and the ongoing 2010 theme for most German content (I know, it´s a licensing issue).

Another annoyance is that " adaptive eye " feature. However realistic DTG thinks it is, I certainly could do without it. So why not make it toggle off for those, like me, who have photo sensitivity. Then I won't need to look away from my screen every time I come out of a tunnel.

But it would be nice to make this a standard. I want to travel on a heavy train. I choose the one I need based on the weight, rather than just clicking through services and seeing what's available.

seeing LNR 350s apart of Cathcart and MAC as TPE services! Couldnt it have hurt them to just paint them in TPE colours leaving it unbranded for the TTs

I'm going to add another minor complaint here. It is so unrealistic when running a freight route in the US and all the rolling stock is from the same railroad. I know this is probably more a license issue than an actual decision by DTG, but looks weird. US railroads have been sharing their rolling stock for over a hundred years now. Why can't TSW reflect that?

You answered your own question. Europe has the same problem with the same containers. The number of brands is limited. This can be solved with a mod.

    From a casual player's perspective...

    NPCs
    • Still jumping in front of my train on multiple routes
    • Robotic animations
    • London Commuter, pulling into London and no one gets off the train but in Brighton you can't move for NPCs
    • NPCs sat on out of service trains in depots
One of my other biggest annoyances is incomplete routes, particularly with East Coastway. Yes, its getting remastered, but it also needs an extension to Hastings and Ore. Far recent DLCs have seen extensions, yet one of the first to come out is still half complete.

We have only seen one London Underground route which came out as part of Train Sim World 2 and despite the frequency of it being suggested, its only being teased as part of other routes and in a very limited capacity. What will come first, GTA VI or a new London Underground route?

Historic-era rail being largely ignored when so much of it could be covered and its not like we are short of resources. Rail today wouldn't have existed without it and yet its not part of the game. I have suggested older routes and rolling stock including pre-1920s London Underground, a southern-based 421 CIG/ 422 4BIG route and others have mentioned the Hastings Thumper on multiple occasions, but I guess the jury is out on this topic for now.

On that theme another niggle is no heavy trucks on US roads and freeways. You get a few static models parked up here and there but nothing moving on the vehicle spawners.

I really enjoy having dynamic weather. What I don't love is a red fog appearing on EVERY SINGLE RUN in dynamic weather. A weather that I'd be shocked to see in real life. Makes me have it on custom which means no change the whole run.
