The East Lancashire Line makes sense to be added to TSW, as it features Preston, which features in 3 other routes. Therefore, this could be made by Just Trains. The line runs from Preston to Colne over around 50 miles, serving 18 stations. This would be great set in the 1980s, using a type of first generation DMU, or a Sprinter in its early days, in BR Provincinal, or even Regional Railways, with the North West sector. This could also include the Preston Docks branch for oil services. Optionally, this route could also run to Hebden Bridge and Todmorden, on the branch after Rose Grove to the Calder Valley. Services on this line in the 1980s consisted of hourly services between Preston and Colne. If engineering works were happening on the Calder Valley Line, trains would be diverted through the ELL, using Class 47s and 31/4s. These would use a type of Mk1 and Mk2 carriages. If these were also added, they could feature in BR Blue, and Regional Railways.

Set it in the same era as the other Preston based routes, and I'm sold.

This is my local line and I’ve suggested this in the past many times but in modern days with all the Sprinters.

extended it to Blackpool north and south with the addition of the 195 then you have a lovely route, even with my depot in the route!
