I already made a post about this a while ago, but still nothing has been done about it. It's such a nuisance, and if I were a developer at DTG I'd be incredibly embarrassed that the game doesn't remember something as basic as settings.
I asked about this in the last roadmap Q&A and they took a note of it and said it should be an easy fix but obviously they didn’t give an estimate of how quickly it would be fixed. It’s possible it got missed in amongst all the other bug reports but we might be closer to a fix now.
